Humble Indie Bundle 3 Is Here!

I'll echo this.
I can't remember exactly, but I recall the organizers saying in the past that they need people to pay at least $0.50-0.70 for the bundle or they will actually lose money with each purchase (Paypal transfer fees or something of that nature). I hope everyone here pays more than that just to make sure they can break even, what with all the $0.01 hoarders around. That is all.

Yep, the Paypal fee is usually about $0.50 + a certain percentage of the transaction (about 4%).
So, please guys, don't be dicks and pay more than $1 (actually a fair price would be at least $5)

Why would anybody ever spend 10 dollars on a movie? Movies only last like an hour, games last for hours, days or even weeks depending on how good it is. (X3 Terran Conflict got me over 130 hours gaming and I still need to play it more)

Well, I don't want to sound harsh, but honestly, if you can't afford $5 or $10 for 5 games, then maybe you shouldn't have games at all. You know, if you pay less than the fee for the games, then this is actually worse than pirating, because your purchase is costing them additional money!

$5 is definitely a fair price, but you may want to consider that some people may already own multiple games in the bundle, and this could sway their opinion.

They still should give $5, but consider it from their point of view.

I'd like to say though, if you do decide to gift this on this site, at least wait until the sale is over (2 weeks), as given the payment nature and the fact it is charity, costing them any money in the brief time they have it open is kinda lame.

I'm afraid they kinda lowered the bar this time around, last time we had Trine, Shadowgrounds games, World of Goo, Machinarium, Penumbra, this time nothing grabs my interest except for that Cogs game that looks like a good puzzle.

I bought Cogs during the Summer sale. It's pretty fun, though hard imo. Was glad to get VVVVVV and AYIM, and the crayon game looks okay as well.

You can't gift HIBs seperately though, it's just people choosing one of the included games and posting them as HIB3, even though they are not supposed to be doing that

As a side note to all this Humble Indie goodness, Batman: Arkham Asylum GotY is 75% off! I almost missed it!

I recommend spending $15 or so and picking up HIB#3 and Batman today. Well worth it.
