Not worth going for. The physics are extremely finicky, gaining air is a death sentence due to how slow you fall with no air control (and you WILL gain air, no ifs ands or buts) and I've had cases where it deemed me off the track despite being centered on it. Getting first once will be a miracle even against bots, can't imagine how it'd be with more than two human players.
The UI is painfully outdated and I had to force close the game since it removed my ability to pick a menu option.

According to official Twitter you have to compete online in the Steam Demo and by winning 3 races in a row you will unlock the full game ! Also, if you win 5 races in a row you will get an extra free Steam key for a friend. Valid until Dec. 22nd.

Winning 3 races in a row should unlock the full game inside the demo version (there is no difference in content). If you want a complete new key (paid version) for free you must win 5 races in a row and contact devs by e-mail. Then the extra key can be given to a friend, but also used by yourselves to get +1 for the game. (Thanks to xitau and Spudette)
Because the initial giveaway has been hacked, keys stolen and then revoked (thanks, madjoki), currently to get the extra key you need to send an e-mail to devs after winning the 5 races in a row.
