Damage? None, I guess, but just look at what everyone is saying... I suppose it's natural for people to desire better quality posts for the forums they participate. Information is more valuable when they're complete, for example.
I myself was wondering what the hell was this post about, and just by the "gala" thought it had something to do with IndieGala (It has, right? Just kidding, somebody else provided that info already!). Again, in this case specifically, there was no need to rush and make such a poor post, so, indeed, it feels like you posted just to be "first" or something.
Maybe you could at least copy K3W3L's post onto the main post? That'll probably avoid more comments, regarding this.
