If you had super powers.

The power to let people empathize with each other. To let someone feel the same exact pain or suffering that another is feeling. If we could do this maybe people wouldn't choose to be greedy, or exploit others, or turn a blind eye to someone's plight. We could all help each other. It's not mind manipulation. It's just genuinely showing a person what someone else is going through. Many people are able to empathize with others naturally. But many aren't or don't and unfortunately are in positions of great power to do serious harm to the world.

Yea I know the OP's question was meant to be fun and light-hearted but I'm just in that type of mood. Oh and being able to cure any wound or disease would be an awesome power too.

Being able to pick your own superpower/s is boring, IMO. It's usually better when they are tied to your personality, occupation, desires, fears, attitude, life events, etc.

That said, assuming I don't get something commonly wished for like invisibility, I would probably have something tied to my funky layered neurosis, like the ability to project my anxiety as a sudden and accumulating sense of dread or danger, becoming a total sensory illusion with convincing and horrifying figments. I used to get a lot of lucid dreams (and lucid nightmares) as a kid, after all. Or perhaps alternatively, I only gain superpowers while asleep, and a projection of myself goes about causing a variety of good and bad deeds working on dream logic (ignoring physics, walking on walls, hiding in impossible spaces, levitating, making scared people run really slowly, etc) :P

I would like to heal (of anything like from body trauma to any illness etc.) people with a touch. That would be the best Superpower.

Teleportation ofcourse.Also healing would be great :).i would be unstoppable.

1st pick: Similar to the one mentioned multiple times before though slightly different. The ability to create teleportation portals in all sizes and shapes.

2nd pick: Absolute Luck. In such a manner that it can be used reliable. I need money? Just play the lottery. But it will also cover stuff which I am not aware of. Someone tries shooting me? The gun will jam.

Realistic pick: The power of the phoenix. To recover and coming stronger for every setback life has in mind for me.

It may be the ability to get involved in any incident.
Approaching me, you get involved in the incident.
It is probably the specification of the world.
A little, I can rain.
It may be a joke and it may be true. But it is a secret.

I'd use them to hide in cave and keep nasty H. sapiens away.

Also there is problem with "helping people". I mean you will be at certain place and save few people from plane crash. But 10 other planes will crash and people die, when you're not around.

It's something that always kept me in "hide, don't go out" type of super hero. Why people in your country (or continent) deserve to be protected, when everyone else don't. I think that's why super heroes mostly "operate" in small areas like city or state xD

Ability to deflect every 13th bullet shot at me.

Would be something along the lines of:

Being able to find things easily that I want to find.
Example:
Thing1: I lost my cat!
Me: ima go find it.
within 5 minutes of searching
finds missing cat.
(I would abuse it though to get a decent winning lottery ticket, though. I admit. )

That or healing/purification, most of my family has cancer or some mental disease and it would be nice for that to go away.

I usually dream with this fantasy of having the power of "knowing everything". Now, actually knowing everything at once would be boring. But I mean for example, you're talking to someone and they're lying, you know. You read a question on a paper, you know the answer. You go buy a car, you know everything about cars. You see, this knowledge would come to you as you needed it. Maybe one day you wonder how the dinosaurs were really extinct... you know it. When I say knowing everything, I mean everything. What to say and when to say it. Look at a drawing on the wall and know who drew it (if you so wish). Yes, it's the ultimate power. Kinda like being god, you could say. But it sure as hell would be fun.

I'd like to be able to transmutate people into buckets of fried chicken, with a nice potato salad on the side.

I'm not sure what powers I'd want. I've often thought about it and they always change depending on circumstances at the time. I do know I'd hope to use them for good but I'm also honest enough with myself that I know power corrupts eventually and I'd be an evil little fucker.

teletransportation is pretty much the only thing i need
