I remember being addicted to a text adventure called The Quest for the Golden Egg Cup. The game from childhood (or adolescence) that has most replay value for me is probably the original Settlers.

In my childhood I had a Sega Master System, and there my favourite game was Deep Duck Trouble, a Donald Duck game.
I loved the boss "battles" where you just had to run.

Fire Power
Simply because it had 1vs 1 mode, splitscreen. Me and my brothe rmade a construction of cardboard so we couldnt see what the other was doing ;)
And I learned English by playing adventure games like Zak mc Kracken

What was your favorite game in your childhood? My fav. game was Lego Island, It was just like GTA actualy but then with legos, you had to achieve mission to get block for your home... it was awesome! And also Battlefield heroes :P
