[OPEN] Girls Who Game [Play Required Group]

Hi gamers!
We're here once again opening our doors to people.

I'm gonna be honest. We went through a period of depression where this boat almost sunk.
We floated around for some time, but now we're back, babey! We also have kicked off our very first event, very exciting stuff. Time sure has passed, we're now on Event 6!

A bit about us, in case you haven't read this before:
We're a group built by girls, made for girls who love gaming, no matter if you're into cozy indie titles, FPS, RPGs, or anything in between. What we want is to create a safe space where gamers can connect and have fun! It also doesn't matter if you've been gaming for years or you're just starting out, everyone is welcome here :)
Our group is mainly focused on Steam games, but gamers of every platform are welcome! Yes, even if you play on a Gameboy from your childhood.

To join us, simply apply to our Steam Group and leave a comment here.

If you don't leave a comment here, your application will be ignored or denied.

Rules and requirements:

1. All your wins must be activated!
2. Giveaways are not mandatory, but appreciated
3. You must identify as she/her, she/they, or they/them
4. Please don't lie about your gender or we'll be very mad
5. Be nice!

[NEW!]

We have implemented a Playing Required rule for giveaways

• Members must play their SG group wins within 4 months.
• If you fail to do so, you will receive a warning on Steamgifts or Discord. If this persists, you will be removed from the Steam group
• If a member gets removed from the group, they can re-join only after playing their win(s)
• Joining Discord is a good idea to maintain direct communication with admins and post your proof. It will also give you access to invite only giveaways with the [play required] role. This still remains optional, but joining is seen as you not just being here for the +1 in your library.
• You will get the role that gives you access to the play required channel on Discord after we check your playrate on Steamgifts
• Anyone with a playrate over 20% will be eligible for the role, but anyone below it and NOT on Discord, might get kicked from the group

Lastly,

• The rules apply for either exclusive, shared or invite only giveaways

Lastly, I want to thank everyone for the support when this first opened. It warmed my heart to see many men support this idea.
