Wondering what games you already own from this bundle? There's an extension/UserScript for that! It's called the RaChartβ„’ Enhancer!

This script enhances the charts by showing you which games you already own from the ones in it. If you own it, the row will be highlighted with a green color.

Got Animal Lover for €0,99 about 2 months ago, I am interested in 'This World Unknown' but that game is cheaper on discount than this whole bundle, if I needed both I may have bought it, now I will skip ^^

Not really cheaper (€2.39 all time low), probably little higher than GroupBuy's price of whole bundle.

Lowest price on Steam has been €2.39 while the bundle is $3.99 (around €3.66) so yes it's cheaper to buy just the game and not the bundle since I have no desire to own any of the other games of this bundle.

Not what I said, but nvm :) .... (I said the price of this whole bundle in GroupBuy is still cheaper than all time low for this game).

Ah ok that explains, if I talk about buying a bundle or not, I talk about a bundle directly from them, not through other people like GroupBuy which I don't use ^^.

Seems like good place to ask:

How works GroupBuy? Is here anyone who use it?

Sometimes there's a game with an option to buy a 2/3/4-pack. These packs offer you a discount, but most of the time you don't have enough people to justify buying the pack. Do you need those extra people? Then this is the group for you! Find people here who want in on your 'Group Buy' and split the price with them.

Taken from the GroupBuys Steam group
I am not associated with them in anyway.
You should check out their steam group if you're interested

Thanks for explanation for me!
Does GroupBuy work only with IG?

I have no idea since I've never used groupbuy before.
I think it's due to Indiegala's Happy hour which allows you to get more bundles at a discounted price
EDIT: To my knowledge, IndieGala is the only bundle site with this feature, so i guess thats why most of the groupbuys are for IndieGala

GroupBuys work whenever there is an option to buy multiple packs. In the past, BunchKeys also used this, but from the stores that have active bundles, only IndieGala offers such an option at the moment.
The requirement is that the host that organizes the groupbuy buys the bundle before the price increase (24h after launch), otherwise they will not be able to receive extra gift packs during the Happy Hour.
If you will use the group linked above by G0tRektZ you need to pay attention to the payment methods that each host accepts. If you are from EU, you need to find a host that has a EU PayPal in order to avoid extra fees when paying for the bundle. You'll need to reserve a spot now and you will pay (and receive your bundle) in one week, after the Happy Hour is live.
I've been using GroupBuys for years (not hosting any though), let me know if you have other questions.

I (EU region) can pay with PayPal EU without fees and globally with Revolut. Seems like this would work for almost every case?
Second question: when and how is payment info distributed?
Third: how much cheaper usually are bundles bought with GroupBuy?

Look at mentioned group GroupBuys for ongoing bundles or you can add me to talk.

  1. Not all hosts have Revolut (few do actually). If the host is from US and you use PayPal, then you will need to pay fees. The hosts are allowed to take up to 5% extra for their payments (included in the calculation usually).
  2. The bundle price is different (higher) during Happy Hour (because of the free packs), therefore your final price is calculated only then. Happy Hour usually happens around 7 days after launch, but sometimes it can be more. Your host will contact you with the payment details when the time comes.
  3. Depending on the bundle price during Happy Hour, you'll have to pay somewhere between $0.88 and $1.47. This one has $3.99 as a starting price, so your price is going to be more like $1.47

I want to try it but I am confused with price calculation - for example currently applied for my first try where it says:

Price calculation: (($3.99 + ???) / 21) * 1.06 = €???

what does mean 3.99 + ???
21 = is how many bundles bough?

Thanks in advance and sorry for such noobish question :P

$3.99 = initial price
??? = the bundle price during Happy Hour (when the GroupBuys happen); it's uncertain how high it will be
21 = total bundles bought (1 initial bundle to enable gift packs purchase plus 5 extra bundle copies during Happy Hour that give 3 extra packs each = 5 * 4)
1.06 = the extra 5% that the host is allowed to keep for their services.

ItΒ΄s a bit sad.

2018 and first half of 2019 (+August) were great to Indiegala. Later, their quality bundles descended.

I think HumbleBundle and Fanatical are at the same level than before, or at least I keep buying bundles from them.

Last one I got from Fanatical was September 2019. I thought more recent, was kind of surprised.
Humble only was more recent due to the Sakura bundle.
Or maybr I am just pickier with less (next to none) time to play.

Animal Lover is great btw, won it here years ago. Good read.
