I do too, but with this publisher making a mess of things it seemed safer for once to buy early (actually wanted the game for my kid, not for the +1). Wrong horse this time ;)

Games are made to make the devs money, shocking. They literally can't sell the game next year so why shouldn't they get as much now as they can. If people feel ripped off, maybe they should stop buying every bad game just because it's going to get removed and imagine it's going to be a rare collectible item. :)

They already sold the keys to IG, so there's no problem there. There have been plenty of removed games on bundles before.

Anybody else having real trouble with the pass check? I cannot unlock the keys as the mail with the passcode either arrives hours later or not at all. I bought the bundle yesterday and still cannot access it.
This is not the first time I have trouble with the Indiegala pass check, but it usually works after some time when less people are online, but not this time.

Edit: Wasn't a problem with your post, I probably shouldn't have posted as a reply. It was supposed to be removed January 1st (and they advertised a last-chance-50%-off sale before bundling, which is shady enough -- but not removing it is even shadier.)

No worries, I didn't see you're reply as an issue with my post - I'm just trying to understand what the problem would be if the game gets removed from steam.
As far as I know from experience there is no issue with that. If you have a key, you'll still be able to activate it to download and play the game. Now if you're after the +1... well... people shouldn't spend money for games for that matter in the first place. But that's just my 2 cents on this (side) issue.
As for the publisher being "shady"... I can't see that either. As someone else already pointed out in another comment: They're a business that's selling games. Which they do as good as they can. And anyone buying the game will be able to keep playing it... no matter if the game gets removed from the steam store or not. So what's shady about this?
Also, them offering 50% discount on the game and a reduced bundle price has nothing to do with the game being part of what you get with the IG bundle. Again, I fail to see what the issue is with that in this thread here on SG about a bundle on IG or why IG should remove the game from the bundle.
Maybe I'm missing some points.

IG shouldn't remove the bundle. The publisher should remove the game from Steam, like they said they would on January 1st. Right now it looks like they were lying about the whole "50% off - last chance" business, because the game is still available (and via Indiegala HH, much cheaper now too).

That's the issue I have -- "buy now, Jan 1st the game will be gone". It's Jan 5 and the game didn't go anywhere.

I've asked them whats the status of the game and they still haven't replied.

A couple thoughts on this..

If their license agreement is actually ending it's probably after the date the bundle finishes cause I'm pretty sure they would be in deep shit if the license agreement was up and it was still being sold on IG in a bundle. Another thing is the license agreement may not of ended on January 1st and they just decided to announce that date to pull the game off steam.

It's possible they could be in the process of renewing the license and that's why it's still on the store. They also might not be able to or are choosing not to talk about things yet. When they posted the announcement about the last chance to buy, it very well could of been correct but in game development things can literally change from one hour to the next.
