Description

This is Berlin Hauptbahnhof Station.

You can transfer to U55 and S5.

You can also catch the regional S3 operated by Deutsche Bahn to Berlin-Spandau here. Do not confuse this with the Berlin S3... And take the Links on the left when you arrive.

This is the S7 line toward Ahrensfelde. The Next Station is Friedrichstr. heading toward Ahrensfelde Station.
This is the S7 line toward Potsdam Hauptbahnhof. The Next Station is Bellevue heading toward Potsdam Hauptbahnhof Station.

Welcome to Berlin!

This is the main train station in Berlin for all incoming and outgoing traffic by Train. Though you can leave from other stations as well, they probably make a major stop here before continuing on. There is a ton of food and other shops that you can visit here. This structure is pretty amazing if you like this sort of style.

Greetings and welcome to the Berlin community Train event.
Now that you're here, ride to your hearts content. There are a ton of great GAs around to find, and perhaps a few puzzles or hidden giveaways.

Random Experience:

I once needed a pharmacy on a Sunday. This was where I went. And because it's such an international destination spot, they had people speaking fluent English working there. I got my antibiotics and went happily on my way.

Vet's are a different story entirely... they're educated, they might expect you to speak their language ;)

Fun thing the locals told me about that station: part of the steel framework facade fell off and crashed onto the walkways below because it wasn't actually welded in place. Fortunately the station was closed at the time.

Hi keohookalani,

I've done a small train for another region in Germany by myself and I've connected it to "your" train so that my final destination is "your" Berlin - Hauptbahnhof station. I hope you don't mind me doing this. If you don't like it, I will change the link to the main thread of your event or will add a Berlin Hauptbahnhof station for myself.

By the way, thanks a lot to you and all the others involved for your great event. I really love Berlin and enjoyed my several trips to the city, so the event was a blast for me. :-)))

Really awesome, thanks a lot!

If you want to be absolutely correct, my S3 only connects Hannover to Hildesheim.

Starting in Hildesheim, it's ICE line 12 which then connects Hildesheim to Berlin. ;)
