Played this game, but both film I watched beforehand (by the way, in-game voice is recorded by the same actors who played in the series) and audiobook of the original novel were better than the game in my opinion.
I believe, game lacks charm, atmosphere. Some locations and puzzles were quite enjoyable, but some feel totally out of the way. Maybe it would feel better if you don't know the original.
