Interesting that you brought up that tip, because according to their website https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/13785/essentials-2012-release-notes :

Note
Windows Essentials 2012 suite reached end of support on January 10, 2017.
It is no longer available for download.

An alternative must be found for continued support, although I will say I still use Movie Maker lol.

Hm, didn't know that. Okay, then I'm suggesting Lightworks because it's free and powerful and somewhat easy to use.
