Jokes on you, pineapple adds that very excellent sweet taste to the cheese. Properly designed clash of common tastes results in something different for our receptors, which in turn surpasses everything we've known until now, resulting in something good. This is why sometimes the most irrational combinations of ingredients in dishes can actually result in something awesome.
The key however is balance, too much pineapple destroys the whole taste, and including full pineapple slices does too.

I'm somebody who unironically enjoys the pineapple pizza, as long as done properly and not as a primary recipe, rather a very good alternative taste. It's my favourite because of how well it clashes with other tastes, not because I eat it the most often. Most often would obviously be pepperoni.

Well my favorite pizza has ground beef, jalapenos, creme fraiche, onions and bacon on top of it. But hey; whatever floats your boat!

I know I'm probably in the minority, but I do not like pizza. On top of that, I'm allergic to onions so very few combinations are even available to me... if I have to chose one, I'd say ham: it goes great with any kind of cheese, especially mozzarella.

I'm a big meat person and like a variety of meats. But my favorite one topping now a'day would be bacon.
One thing I don't really like is red sauce, ketchup is ok and I hate the taste of tomatoes. I do eat red sauce sometimes on pizza if someone else orders/buys. I personally like ranch sauce or ricotta instead of red sauce.
There's a several Pizzas I like..
Deep Dish/pan or Hand tossed, or even thin crust with ranch or cheese sauce, extra extra Mozzarella cheese and bacon
Deep Dish/Pan Pizza with ranch sauce, extra Mozzarella cheese, bacon, onion and sausage
Hand tossed with BBQ sauce with extra Mozzarella cheese with either beef or chicken and some onion
Deep Dish/Pan Pizza with regular sauce, extra Mozzarella cheese, bacon, sausage, Italian sausage, pepeperoni, hamburger, and ham
Deep Dish or Hand Tossed with cheese sauce, extra Mozzarella cheese, shrimp, scallops and lobster
Hand Tossed with white sauce and Ricotta cheese

Have you tried a ranch or cheese sauce on a pizza before? Or a BBQ pizza? I actually thought they would taste gross. This girl I was dating a long time told me about them. I was going to take her to this nice place to eat and she asked me if I ever had a BBQ before once I said no she insisted on going to this cheap all you can eat pizza place lol.

The BBQ Pizza was freakin awesome! lol. I'm actually glad she convinced me to go to that place. But I've had it with BBQ sauce that didn't taste very good either. The trick is just finding the sauce you like and give it a try.
Dude you have to have some ranch shipped over to you, order it from Amazon or something. It's mainly used for salad dressing or dip for potato chips or chicken wings. Hidden Valley(Name brand) is really good.
You basically add sour cream to this seasoning and it's awesome!! You can buy it already made as well, but this is better in my opinion.
