Another year, another advent calendar! Yay... Thanks, MachinesAreHuman. ^^
Happy Holidays, everybody!
Have you find any hidden gem during this year? If there's a game you particularly loved, even if it wasn't an AAA production, feel free to share it in the comments. I'm always pretty curious about other people preferred games.
On another note, remember my thread where you could vote for your GOTY? Here's the podium:
1) Hades - 43 votes
2) Cyberpunk 2077 - 33 votes
3) Doom Eternal - 28 votes
If you wanna check out the other carts of this train, you'll have to answer to an impossible question HERE
Remember to give a bump to the event's thread
Cyberpunk 2077 finishing second really tells us all we need to know, about the value of most awards in the games industry. ;)

It's so good, it doesn't even need to be released to win GotY. As is, I'm sure it's fueled countless PC upgrades.

Outer wilds (Not The Outer World) is my game of the year, and I will recommend it every chance I get :)

One more delay and Cyberpunk will be GOTY of 2021 xD I'm sure that this game will be great... but it wasn't released yet xD

Not so much of a -hidden- gem but I loved Graveyard Keeper a lot this year

I'm a little unsure about whether to enter this, since I have access to Xbox Game Pass and can play it through that, but I'm not sure how much longer it'll be on there. I guess I'll probably pass, though, because I haven't played it very much yet, so that might mean I don't like it enough to play a bunch if/when it's not on there.

I'm surprised that CP2077 was on the list considering it hasn't released yet, I'm sure that it'll be a good title but still....

It's technically a game from 2019, but a game I really enjoyed this year was:
HATCH
I played a drm-free copy of it from itch since I got it from the huge bundle on itch they did a while ago.
You basically have to climb this huge mountain, and the only rule is the wall must have a slight downward slope and you can climb it. There's also a sun and you have to avoid its view, using the mountain to your advantage to block its view from you. There's some really tricky parts where you have to momentarily get in the sun's view to get to a higher position, but fast enough you don't die.
It also made me realize I love games about climbing things or that have lots of climbing mechanics. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Grow Home and A Short Hike (this was also in that bundle, and also awesome) are some other notable examples with such mechanics.

I can't say much about this years nominations. What I can say however is that I have played Genshin Impact and I have seen the future.
Anyway thank you Ernesttico for this GA and the super-train :)

Would you please release a chart showing the events and total votes for every game? I'd appreciate knowing how far down HZD (the real GOTY, no matter what some poor, needing-glasses, sadly mislead or er confused people were tricked into saying.
*) was in the standings.*the above hidden test was a joke, and no offense was implied or intended.Comment has been collapsed.
I've now added all the results in the OP of the GOTY's thread. ;)
