The Stage

A typical stage for a breakaway and the GC guys trying to preserve energy for the bigger mountains. We could well see a KoM battle here with anyone high in that classification wanting to be in the breakaway. You could say it's a typical Thomas De Gendt stage but unfortunately he has said he hasn't had the legs he needed so far this Tour.
