I thought the old Rome: Total War game was fun, but each subsequent game felt like hmm, didn't I play this before? Same terrible AI, same cheese, etc.

Oh, I dunno, the Littlewitch game is fun if you like visual novels, but I don't own the other two so I have no clue... :( If nothing else, let's hope they all have trading cards... :)

When I first saw that visual novel, I thought it might be related to the Little Witch Academia anime (which, if you're unfamliar, just imagine if Miyazaki/Ghibli had handled the animation for a Shoujo rewrite of Harry Potter, and you'll have a pretty good idea of what to expect from LWA; In fact, if any of that framework sounds good to you, you should definitely check the anime out).
Whelp, it looks decent despite not being related, I guess. The art style is nice. :)

Hmm, thought that sounded familiar... Somehow I own https://store.steampowered.com/app/710470/Little_Witch_Academia_Chamber_of_Time/ despite having no idea what it is. :( Hopefully it had a big discount... :) Looks cute enough, maybe I should try to watch the cartoon or the game probably wouldn't make any sense at all... :)
p.s. Unless I overlooked some R18 Ghibli movies, the Littlewitch game is probably not quite the same as this Little Witch Academia thing...

I've got that one wishlisted though. Looks like a decent enough co-op sidescroller, even without factoring in the fan appeal. :)

That said, I wasn't aware that Littlewitch Romanesque had any adult content in it; Most of the reviews seemed to insist that it's All-Ages and that no sexual content patch exists for it [yet]. 'Course, looking more closely, I found this review comment:

Well, in the old days I'd buy all sorts of stuff on Steam during the big sales, you know, way back when Steam's Games Under $5 list would give you a huge pile of actual GAMES, all under $5. Somehow I think the days of sorting by price and finding a bunch of hidden gems are gone. :(

But if you scroll down to the bottom of the page there's a "Buy Now on JAST USA" which leads to "Littlewitch Romanesque: Editio Perfecta" which is, well, you can take a guess... :)
I know there used to be a message on Steam, maybe the forum, a guide, a review, curator, somewhere, talking about a patch to change Steam's version to the other one, but maybe it's been removed? I can't imagine it's possible to eradicate something from the internet once it's out there, but maybe people have to hunt around for it nowadays. No clue...

Haven't played any of the fictionally oriented games from the series yet but most of the "realistic" were enjoyable. Still recall memories from playing the original Shogun. Felt like leading a true army! Gratitude for romance of three giveaways.

Sounds like this one has an option for more/less realistic battles, like your generals can be regular people or action movie stars... :) Dunno about the rest of it, though... :)

I've played Rome: Total War a lot. One time I've done a very fun save&load sequence and made one of my generals to a child. Each person can die from turn to turn, but if you change something then they can stay alive. Unsigned small integer can keep numbers from 0 to 127, so after 127 years old I came to the newborn child xD

Thanks a bunch for this one, fiftykyu! Really looking forward to this iteration of my beloved Total War series (although, admittedly, the love has waned over the decades due to disappointment in advancing what was once an innovative and new approach to the gaming market, as well as lackluster game design and an AI that seems to still be stuck in 2000). But this game seems to have done a lot of things right (or at least better than many of its predecessors).
Since I don't expect to win it in this GA, I will keep looking for a nice discount purchase. God knows, I have a tendency of giving them my hard-earned money in the end. :D

I hear you. That's why I started giving away this sort of (presumably) high quality games in groups or my whitelist. Felt so bad several times before when I saw people with an abysmal ratio and not even the decency to say "thank you" that I shy away from creating public GAs for games I truly wish to give to someone who will enjoy them (or at least honestly thinks they will - you never know for sure anyway).
