This has surely been a year of all time. I wish you all a happy, and safe holidays/ festive season, and a fantastic New Year!
I have prepared a (very) small picturesque train ride for today, I hope you enjoy! <3
Rimworld has a special place in my heart. I have yet to find any games that hit the same mark as Rimworld does, there are similar games, sure, but I haven't yet tried anything that has made me feel as connected to my little pawns/ 'colonists', quite like this. I hope whoever wins this enjoys this game!
I've heard many wonderful and funny stories that happened in this game (addictive thing). х3 Have a cozy holiday!

Many wonderful things have indeed happened in this game. However there are also less-than-wonderful things that can happen. It's all part of the package.
Although without challenge, would the game be any fun?
Best of luck in the giveaway!

Yes, it is true, everything is part of the good history (both ups and even downs). P.S. thx!

Lots to learn, but plenty of Twitch streams playing right now to learn from.

Once again thanks for the train and in particular for this game, Alpha. I've had it for a long time on my wishlist and it always ends up intriguing me when I watch some streams of it on Twitch, so it's nice to have another chance to win it. Happy Holidays! ^^

Speaking of loops, I had this game on my wishlist for sooooo long... and it looks like it will never be released. :(

Thank you for the mini train! :)

I quite like the style of that game, I've never heard of it before, but it does look nice.
It is a shame it is in development hell. I hope that turns around for them at some point :/
Merry Christmas shadowshiv, and best of luck in the draw!

So many interesting games go the way of the dodo. And we are left with asset flips and $100 games that are probably money laundering (like Hede games).
There are a lot of good games still out there, so gaming is by no means even close to dying.
Thanks again. :)

I mean as always, people will find a way to break or exploit any systems. So I'm not surprised to see the $100 dollar asset flips and just general low-effort stuff.
It is important to always remember that there are a lot of passionate, driven, and talented people out there who are working on great things. In many fields, including game development.
From one aspect, to know how 'good' something is, you need a 'bad' reference to gauge against.
If everything is amazing, then is anything really amazing?
Sorry for the deep philosophical comment, it's interesting to ponder sometimes...

When I see how many hours people put into the game, I'm too scared to enter it.

Putting hundreds of hours isn't necessarily a requirement... You could enter and give it a shot casually :P
Happy holidays anyway, and if you do decide to enter, I wish you the best of luck!

Best game ever - been playing it constantly for the last three years.

Great to hear!
Have you been running it with any mods or still just vanilla + DLC?
Comment has been collapsed.
I'm a mod addict - currently running 506 mods and it still somehow runs - although it takes about 20 minutes from clicking play to reaching the menu screen! Worth it though.

This is a great game to give away, hopefully whoever wins it doesn't lose too many hours of productivity like I did playing this

Thanks for the giveaway, I hear so much about this game, my colleague is crazy about it, describes it as Dwarf Fortress in space, not sure I see that myself but I'm intrigued 🧐. Hope you have a happy & safe Christmas, cheers! 🎄

It is a fantastic game. I haven't played Dwarf Fortress myself, but from what I know that is more difficult to get into than Rimworld.
I wish you the best of luck in the giveaway, and a Happy and Safe Christmas!
