Rescently i just finished giving away 3 games total worth 35 points... Prior to that i have already had 31 or 32 CV after giving away three games my CV became at most 0.30$ more... i am awareof the new regulation about bundled origins to be "taxed" but this is plain ridiculous to leave people with 1% value or is there somewhere where i am at fault? can someone help clarify?

Best to read up on bundle games and how they effect your contribution. There is a question mark next to CV on your profile that explains it.

No.

CV == nbv + min(bv , nbv*0.2)

bv = total bundled value
nbv == total non-bundled value

You totally lost me, man. Let's say a 20 dollars bundled game, how many cents does it give me?

You didn't read it. You get 20% of your non bundled CV, total. The first $25 of bundle games will count as non bundled CV to help people, but after that, you can only get another 20% of that, AKA $5 of that base.

You have gifted two DLCs (99 cents each) as well as bundle games, so the non bundle CV is $26.98, and you can add a maximum of 20% of that from the rest of the bundle value ($5.396), for a total of $32.376, which I imagine is right around your current value?

Not quite.

SteamGifts keeps track of both your non-bundled value and your bundled value, and you don't "lose" any of it. However, the contribution of your bundled value toward your "running total" (CV) is capped at 20% of your non-bundled value. The CV calculation is as follows:

CV == (total non-bundled value) + minimum of (total bundled value , total non-bundled value X 0.2)
in other words,
CV == nbv + min(bv , nbv*0.2)

As you increase your non-bundled CV, you increase the amount of bundled CV which is counted toward your running total.

i must have got it wrong somewhere... it said i get first 25$ and the rest is only 0.2x value... so it is calculated as like 50 cents a game or smth? FAQs only swem more confusing with all the bundled cvs

Maximum is $30 CV from bundled games until you give a non-bundled game. Then you get up to 20% value of the non-bundled games when you give away extra bundled games.
