I think the only one you're going to find at that speed and "affordable" is Comcast.

Indeed, and the closest place to ask Comcast any questions in person is in Richmond I think

Comcast suuuuuuuuuuucks, they have downtime like CRAZY down here. (South Alabama)

But alas, they're the only real cable provider down here that offers speeds past 10Mbps.
We're supposed to get 25Mbps, but are lucky to get about 12Mbps sometimes.
They just don't work like they're supposed to, but hey, they're the only one down here and they work enough so whatevs.

So yeah, Comcast does offer real high-speed Internet and it's fast, when it works.

You can upgrade to Business class and get up to 100Mbps. It's like $300/month though. ;)
But typical 25Mbps works too. I think our bill is about $50/month.

Uhh... as mentioned, this is something you should be asking your rl friends. There are so many ISP's that simply lease pipe space from other isp's and all of them are locality based.

None of us can answer this question for you unless we live next to you, and considering we dont know where you live...

I got fiber optic connection. DL 100Mbit/sec / UL 20Mbit/sec Elion is the ISP.
Sad thing is I use wifi almost exclusively as I can't bother with the cable so only 23Mbit/sec DL and 20Mbit/sec UL from the wifi.

Anything but Bell. Honestly, it's a decent cable provider but awful for Internet. Rogers is okay, not really sure of the location where you are. (This applies to Canada only)

(I use MTS and let me tell you, the speeds are the most odd thing ever on my wireless connection)
