Does requesting a new giveaway winner give me 7 days to gift the game to the new winner?

First time I've had to request a new winner, so not sure how the whole process works. Also not sure why someone would be rude when winning a free game, but that's life I guess.

Yes it does. The creator of the giveaway has 7 days to send the gift so new winner means he has 7 days from the reroll.

If there is a reason for a re-roll, and support accepts your reason, they will randomize a new winner and you'll have new 7 days to send a gift to the new winner.

Sorry to hear someone soured your giveaway experience. I'm pretty sure the timer doesn't reset, but the new winner will only be notified after you reroll, so that's 7 days for them to accept. No big deal, to be honest.
