Just looked it up on Google and my God, the character portraits look so amazing. Although, the in-game sprites somehow look kinda awful. Kinda looks like an output that you'd get when you put the original sprites into some cheap scaling algorithm for "HD effect". Are they selling this PC version somewhere?

Time for a PS3 / PSP. They have some great exclusives.

US at this time. Other regions, like all the PAL stores will get it much later, if at all.
If you want it, I recommend getting some PSN credit on Amazon and making a US account.

I had the game, didn't like it, gave it to a friend. They liked it more than me.

That is why I gave it away. It is a game that people want, but too many don't have the cash for it. I only had an ex rental copy, but still could have made some cash from it. But figured it was better off with a friend I knew wanted to play it.

Surprised to actually see it considering how the there was a bundle of 1 and 2 for the PSP in japan but it was prevented from coming here due to Sony of America's policy on straight ports to the PSP (never mind the vast number of thinly-veiled ports on it)

Fuck yes!!!! Yeeeeesss!!! I'm gonna buy them as soon as they get on the european psn. I hope there will be the Italian version as well, with abysmal translation, I'll drown in nostalgia. I still have my ps1 memorycard with the save files, now if only I could stick it in my ps3 XD
Yep, Suikoden 2 is my favorite game of all time, I still have a lot of guides and pages printed fromt he time I used to play it, I completed it around 7 times and I have still to see the end of the Elza and clive sidequest (complete the game in under 20 hours, tricky)

Its the PS1 Classics selection. You might not care, but others like having access to the game legally and cheap.

My friend kept on mentioning the series, and since I vaguely remembered Sui meaning water in Japanese, I looked it up and discovered that it's based on the Chinese literary work Water Margin and is called "Fantasy Shui Hu Zhuan" in China. Awesome. On a related note, the Fantasia Sango series, which is based on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, another of the Four Great Classical Novels, is also pretty cool.

Today, my friends, is the day...
I don't have any more words... It's well said here. Read it, then buy it.
