The original purchaser keeps the DRM copy in their HB inventory. When the steam key is gifted, the recipient will also get the game's DRM copy as well.

That's good to hear if it's true, but is there any source about this? The other option (gifting the DRM-free versions alongside the games) would sound the more umm... reasonable to be honest.

I searched this for quite a bit, but it seems like I'm the only one interested in it, just wondered if any of you have any experience in this. What happens if you gift a Steam key that has a DRM-free copy attached to it? Does it gift that and the soundtrack as well? 'Cause if that's the case, I think my extra Daedalic keys are to stay...
