I don't really care if you or others from here didn't win at all. You have a only a theory. No proofs at all, just words. I know because you gave away 70 games , you wanted to win 200 but that's unlikely.
And you SilentShadow117, you have 1:6 ratio. Unhappy right? Join more giveaways and the change to win increases.
Also at the beginning of SG the user base was small and many won games that time. Now the user base increased a lot and it's normal that the change to win something is lower.

Here is my story: one year ago, I joined the site. One year later, which is today, I look back and see that I made 1 giveaway and won 11. That is exactly 11 times more than I have given to the people.
Yes, you got me, I also work with admins. We share games and play for highest score in tetris. Silly me...
But for real now, this site works like real life: some win, some don't, others are just damn lucky.

There are some private groups which stack the odds into the admin's favourite... you can tell as the admin and mods of those groups have won more than they give and just regift what they don't want back (even though regifting is against the rules, they still get away with it). I think there should be some careful consideration into the steamgifts groups. Note not all are like this, most are great, friendly, and fair - just a few bad lemons in the mix.
As for public giveaways, well the odds depend on how many enter - it could be 1 in a 1000 odd on average for most. Meaning either everyone needs to stop entering soo many or you have to spend the time entering a lot to get anywhere. Now take into consideration of leechers who haven't gifted anything but enter a lot, odds go up against you again.
The only way this can work, if people give generously what they won't miss and thankful people receive it or at least had a chance to win.

It's a joke, I'm making fun of public schoolers because I am home schooled and I understood it, and public schoolers give me crap saying that they are smarter (usually they aren't) and so I make fun of public schoolers. sigh It's not like I've heard that before... I was home schooled because we didn't want me to be taught what they teach in schools... Plus, I was smarter than everyone in my pre-school class so I was put into home school to go at my own pace. I was a grade ahead in pretty much everything except history, in public school, I would've been bored.. Plus we we didn't want me to be taught evolution so I was taught Creation.

At best this is a zero-sum proposition. The site is not going to give out more than it gets in. The idea here is not to make a profit off of the site!
And yes, you will win less than you put in. Even if you don't put in anything, look at the odds. You get 2.5% of the value of a game as points. Most public giveaways you enter are <1% chance. Where do those extra 1.5% go? There are more (active) members than the points percentage imply!

Did you even read the entire comment? Run the numbers - daily giveaways/daily participants<0.025. Are some of these admin alts? I don't know. Neither do you - all you have is a completely unfounded assumption. Until you can prove with statistical significance that certain accounts have a higher rate of wins per point per time unit being a member of the site you are making ASSUMPTIONS and presenting them as CONCLUSIVE PROOF. You know what the rest of society calls that? Conspiracy theories.
Now if you can provide some conclusive data I bet you would not only be able to convince a lot of people here directly, but you would also be able to publish it in a legitimate academic journal, likely have some sort of news outlet pick it up and convince the rest of the users. This is all in addition to making a decent bit of money for yourself to buy the games you never got for free.

Ok - First things first - I'm not leaving ;P This topic was a HIDDEN PUZZLE topic. Some of you have seen through it right away, some did with a little help, some refused to see it even when smacked right in a face with obvious hints, and some decided to go all rage including calling names, spamming my profile or even threatening death from alt accounts (which to your knowledge may be considered serious crime in most western countries...). I mean c'mon guys - how can you be so ignorant? There were tens of hints or even part-sollutions all over the topic - I wrote again and again to read it closely, look at the form it's written in not just what it says - but as original topic says - some people are just too ignorant.
Other thing is all the hate some of you have shown - ok, I understand that everybody hates QQuers but soooo many comments were sooo much worse then wortst QQer I've ever seen. And there were so many of them... Think a little you idjits, befeore you start to writing all-rage-out hate post next time. Such an attitude destroys community far more than all the QQers combined.
And now for actual sollution your first hint was TOO HARD written all bold and all caps - it should point you to itstoohard site you should already know (it's all over SG topics ;P). In main post 8 letters were in itallics and they gave you puzzle adress (http://www.itstoohard.com/puzzle/OvJsNoaN)[http://www.itstoohard.com/puzzle/OvJsNoaN]. There was 1 question in binary - about certain QQer - you could use xlate or any other soft/site to decode question and encode answer. Answer could be found by even copy-pasting question to google, or by going to NoQQ group and discussion about QQers list. If you waited 1 hour you even got direct link to this list ;P And game to win was WH40k:DoW2. There's been also hidden link in several spaces to Private LEgend of Grimrock giveaway encoded simply in Base64.
Ok - This site is a freakin scam! The thing is you will never win more than you have to give! Just look at my profile, or profiles of other members. Now you see it? I mean come on... I may have won 34 games, but I had to give away 70 of them! Where are the other 36 games going? Now I'm starting to think that they give you something now and then just to get you to contribute even more and all in all you just lose anyway... Is it TOO HARD to understand how this works? So just stop b$%^ing on all ppl who cries that they don't win - they have a point, but you all are just too ignorant and so much in love with SG that you refuse to see the truth!!!
