If you could have multiple entries for a giveaway, would you use it?
trust me when I say you don't want this.
Indiegalas "extra odds" giveaways... are actually reduced odds... because if you don't sink every single possible point into it your overall chance to win it will be reduced.
add in that you can bank points on SG...

I always think this but when I stop and think for like 10 seconds I realize that it would be awful.
Like, imagine a person who has been putting his points for a month in a long GA. To not get lesser chances you would be forced to not enter any other GA during all that time. And you would probably still lose

Thank you all for your responses. This seemed a bit counter intuitive to me but makes more sense now. Sometimes, I wish I have paid more attention to the math teacher in school :) But, I guess common sense cannot be taught.
I also didn't think of bots and multi users: with multiple entries, they basically have unlimited points to spend on a GA.

Many years ago I made a post suggesting that an "events" category should be added, some years later it became a reality (sorta, since what actually happened was that the "puzzles" category got expanded to "puzzles/event") and to this day I like to think that my post had some sort of influence in CG's decision.

I am rather new to this community (lvl. 0). I solve the puzzles and quizzes just for the fun of it, and generally enjoy the vibe here.
When it comes to entering giveaways, I am rather selective: I go only for the ones I really like, leaving room for others to try their chance.
However, when a giveaway that I like comes up, I'd really like to be able to go all in and use most of my points on it to raise my chance.
I am not sure if such a feature exists already and I missed it, but if not... please consider adding it :)
(I understand developers of such free services are often too busy... it's just a thought)
