I usually try and get games while they are on sale but from what I can see steam has alot of great deals going on right now.

Civilization V,
Red Orchestra 2,
Dungeon Defenders,
Skydrift (this one looks really awesome),
Cogs,
The Wonderful end of the world,
Jamestown,
Toki Tori(actually the two tribes pack contains 3 differant games),
and ,
Lead and gold(I know it is not on sale but one of the best games I have ever bought was Global Agenda I loved the 3rd person shooter design of it)

I have about 15 bucks to spend

I prefer 3rd person shooters to first, I loved Zelda the old school one from regular nintendo, I still remember up up down down left right left rigt b a b a select start, I could never get the fatalities right in Mortal Kombat, I am prone to micro seizures, not always a problem but things like the LoL 3d april 1st gag had me in bed for a week. I love the Matrix hated the game, SWG pre NGE was the best mmo of all time, I played WoW for 5 years or so, I am on hell act 2 in D3 playing a DH but I only play when I can grp with my friend. I would play AOC if any company other than Funcom ran it.

I hope that is enough information about me to make an educated assumption into my game taste.

I didn't find anything fun about it. I could barely tell what an enemy looked like and just kept getting sniped whenever I left where I spawned. Gave it about 3 rounds of multiplayer before calling it quits.

This is a very hard game, and its like Battlefield 3, its not arcade its a war simulator.

BF3 is not a war simulator. Arma II is, BF3 isnt at all... BF3 is like all other BF games, Just a shooter with big maps & Buildings :P

BF3 is just a more hardcore shooter, not a war sim. The Arma series is a true war sim. Honestly, Red Orchestra 2 isn't too bad. It's definitely hard, I'll give it that. If you aren't used to being killed quickly, and often and/or get frustrated by that, then don't buy it. It's geared towards players that appreciate the grit of the battlefield and how you need to plan out your advances instead of blindly charging in, soaking up bullets and then finding cover to "regenerate" health.

It's definitely no COD, and definitely something you need to get used when you first start.

The Wonderful End of the World isn't something I would recommend, it wasn't enjoyable enough for me to consider playing it anymore than getting 100% of achievements (like 6 hours?) and I was just committed to get it (didn't look very hard).

I had a lot of fun with DD. Do you like metroidvania kind of games? If so check out Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet and Aquaria

Now that you have some recommendations, wait for the summer sale. I paid $2.99 for Dungeon Defenders from Amazon. Activated on Steam and everything.

I will defn be doing that with DD seems that the with all the DLC's that game could end up costing me almost half as much as I have put into LoL and I am still not very good at League lmao.

Lead and Gold Servers are Dead and its only online don't bother also if you like old zelda games get Binding of Issac its a ton of fun. I'd also suggest Dungeon Defenders and Jamestown/Toki Tori also I feel the need to say the code is b a start select not b a b a start select.

Civ V you can litterary just spend hundreds of hours and it will never get old even if you're new to strategy

I bought Civ V (5), and I ain't disappointed in it. I'm fairly new to strategic games, and the transition went fairly smooth. Just spend some time on the lower difficulties to learn the basics. Also, get Binding of Isaac. It's a great arcade-y feeling game with tight controls and quite a lot of depth if you'd spend some time to get to know it. Also, save some money for the BoI DLC coming out on monday, it's going to be 3$.

I love Lead and Gold and i 'd like to buy it too sometime but i've seen my boyfriend trying to play and it's so sad that noone is currently playing this great game..!You can't find a server to play..there's only one sometimes, that seems to get full. so from that point of view you'd better not get this one yet..
