need for speed hot pursuit vs grid vs dirt 3

They're all racing games.

I would say DiRT 3, Hot Pursuit is not as good as the old ones, and the first Grid is just not that good.

I played GRID on the PS3 and it was great. Bought it on Steam Summer Sale. :)

depends on what kind of racing game you want. more arcadey or more along the lines of realism.

I only had chance to play GRID of the three. But it sure felt good.

Also, it depends on what you like in racing games. NFS is less simulation, more arcade feel. GRID and DIRT are both more simulation, still, Dirt is rally game, so it's much different.

GRID

Grid is a simulation, you get sponsors and stuff.

Dirt 3 is more arcadey (or how'd you spell that), between the rally games, Dirt 2 is much better

And NFS HP is very much an arcade game. I am really into cars so I love realism, NFS Shift series is much better than HP

well it depends what kind of racing you like.

nfs hp is very arcade and imo it gets boring really guick

grid is a good solid arcade and light sim mix where you drive on race tracks and ou have different modes in your career like racing, touge, drift events, endurance races and etc.

dirt 3 is a nice rally/ rally cross racer mostly arcade where you have all sorts of race events icluding the cool gymkhana

i would vote for grid or dirt but if you wanna get dirt, then go for dirt 2. i didnt really like nfs hp that much

ps. but if you really want a nice racing sim on steam, then you should get race injection+ gtr evolution for combined 8€ during the summer sale, probably the best 8€ you ever spend if you are into sim racing.
