The price of the pack it's almost 40$ (40P).

If all the games from Indies pack are valued in 1P i understand, but its not the case.

Because it's a bundle key and it was heavily abused. You are not supposed give an individual indie bundle key as an official giveaway.

Edit. Also I'm pretty sure it's a temporary solution. They had to do something to it, 40 points is pretty much for an indie bundle game. But then again The Ship is not any better and it hasn't been solved. True it was removed from the list, but it's not like people don't still have those keys and are still giving them out in official giveaways.

The Ship isn't exempt from the rules. You can't give away they keys from the bundles.

You can, however, give away the tradeable copies that you get when you redeem the bundle key.

When you bought The Graduation Bundle, you got a key for yourself and 2 extra giftable keys which, when activated, gave another copy of The Ship each. You are saying those 2 steam giftable copies could be given out here. I can't follow your logic on that. Also I don't think that's the case on this site, it shouldn't be.

The bundle included one key, which - when activated - gives the redeemer two tradeable copies. These are not keys, and they're identical to what you would have received had you bought The Ship through the Steam store (buying it through Steam also gives extra copies.)

You can read the relevant thread here. There has been a bit of debate in there about whether the extra copies are allowed or not. The general consensus seems to be that they are.

I assumed they were keys since "The Ship for: steam (pc) - includes 2 extra giftable Steam keys!" that's on the bundle. Anyway you shouldn't assume and maybe you know better I guess, thanks for the clarification.

Well this or that, it's obviously very easily abusable and I still don't see the logic behind that you are able to officially gift them. I don't see how it would differ from other indie bundle games.

those are tradeable copies but you can tell when you look at it in the inventory - it won't let you see this item in the Steam store so thats an easy way to check whether it is from bundle or not.
and those shouldnt be in giveaways since its from bundle!

The thing its there are tons of Beat Hazard at 10P... i don't care the points, i only want the same rules for all the games.

Then report all the rule-brakers.

I thinks he means: why only Ironclads is valued 1P while other games from the bungles are not reduced in points. (Razor2, Beat Hazard - there are tens of them).

And yet people keep spamming the site with Beat Hazard, Razor2 and that History-something game.

Because Indie Royale has ended?
How to reduce these bundle games in one period of time after the bundle ends (a week, for example) then return them to normal price. But that would make too much work for admins...unless they can automate it.

"Do not submit individual games from indie game bundles, e.g. Humble Bundle, Indie Royale, etc." It doesn't matter that the bundle has ended. And reduce them for a week is not the solution. People will buy 10 bundles for $10, wait a week or a month and then post it here for 200+P.

In my opinion, all bundle games should be valued 1p or less.

In my opinion, no. There are people who actually buy those games as individually. I guess it would "solve" this issue, but it would just generate other problems. So it's sort of +/-1.

I reported my own giveaway for two things: 1 - it's a game from a indie pack 2 - I don't like the diference: Ironclads is valued 1P while other games from the bundles are not reduced in points.

I'll give the key to a friend, its for the best.

In the past people were abusing it to enter contributor giveaway, since Ironclads valued higher than other games in bundle ($40) while you can get them for $1 in Indie Gala. So admins take the precautions.

and they are still posting Beat Hazard and other games. That's what he is pointing out. (Those other three games make 25P for 1$).
