Hey,

I have $16.32 to spend on Amazon.com to spend on Games, I only want to get a Digital Download game and want to get the best game I can for my money.

Here are some games I found, mostly on offer:

  • Dead Space 2 [Download] $15.76
  • Dragon Age: Origins [Download] $15.02
  • Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood [Download] $14.87
  • Dragon Age 2 [Download] $14.82
  • Dead Island [Download] $14.99

Or if I paid a little extra I could get Mass Effect 3 for $19.99, but would it be worth the extra?

If you want to get the best game you can for your money, wait until a proper sale. Because those are shitty prices :/

Ok, but which game would be the best out of those?

That's a silly question. I know what game I would like, but why would you ask people what is the best game when they don't know what you like? They're all quite different games.

Asking strangers what game is the best is rather ridiculous, considering that none of us know your preferences...

Those are some high prices... Wait for a sale, amazon sales are usually better than Steam's, yet the games can be redeemed on Steam. The games are also quite different, so you should be the one deciding what you like. I'd go with AC:B or Dead Space 2... Possibly Dead Island, though I haven't played that.

Lets' see. Played all of these besides Dead Space 2.

3 RPG's and an openworlder.

Dragon Age - Blast to past DND RPGs of a lavish long storyline but also combining with the new RPG waves like custom DND rules etc.
Dragon Age 2 - I guess you would probably need to play Dragon Age 1 before, nothing that revolutionary going DA1 to DA2.
Dead Island - Quite a gimmicky and kind of repetitive. I would compare it to L4D but as L4D ends in short epic fights this introduces the formula as an Action/RPG game. Seems unpolished but it does have its charms.
Mass Effect 3 - Well again as a sequel and this kind of ongoing sequel you would have to have played the first 2 games to really grasp the story. More of the same as ME and ME2. Good unique series combining Hollywood like story telling with a space RPG. The gameplay part gets also repetitive but the story telling part is quite great.
Assassins Creed Brotherhood - Again same story as with ME3, you probably need to play the first games as it has a continuing story. Not that tightly knit as the Mass Effect one but still. Introduces on new gimmicks and probably is a very great sequel. As a historically accurate (well besides the uhm...outerwordly stuff) sandbox openworld game it is very cool. But yes again, third game in the series so you most likely already knew if you liked it if you had played the first games.

So all the games besides Dead Island and DA:Origins are sequels. As sequels you should probably play the first game and that settles that. DA:Origins is like I said a mash between old epic rpgs like Baldurs Gate combining with latest trends of rpgs. If you enjoy a quite generic RPG storyline with darker tones and enjoy a challenge in managing your party (it was quite hard but later patches eased the difficulty) be my guest. Dead Island can be compared to DA:O in a sense it's very hit or miss if you like it. If your dream is a Left 4 Dead rpg and you could literally bash zombies for hours on end I guess you will like it. With little story (meaning most of the time is spent bashing zombos and not talking to someone) the gameplay part has to carry the game for you and I doubt it will.

I would prob get AC:B or MA3 as these series are the greatest to play and if you have one game of the series I guess you could get the others. Also they both have Multiplayer so a little extra value if nothing more.

Dead Space series I know is epic and havent had the time to play yet.

Your question is very vague. What did you mean by "best"?
There's a lot of different opinion about "best". Did you talk about best story? Best gameplay? Best graphic? Or best at all aspect?
Best definition is different at different genre as well. Please be more specific.

Well, I can tell you one thing. Don't buy Dead Island. It's not worth the price. It's worth maybe 7$ in my opinion.
It's an okay game for multiplayer, but if you don't have anyone to play with, don't buy it. I must admit, it is pretty fun on multi, but it's really buggy.
I still have to finish it, but my friend and I just can't bring ourselves to do that.
Just wait for some big discount.
