So it's always video games, video games, video <yaaaaawn>

Take a look at this list and say which ones apply to you. I can honestly say that I agreed with all except 5, 6 and 10. 5 and 10 are turn-offs actually but the rest is hella fun and interesting.

What about you guys?

Stretch marks? The fuck?

+1 for glasses as long as they're not the obnoxious thick-framed hipster glasses.

-1 for making me click a button 10 times. Also, -1 for no back dimples or exposed necks.

-1/10 list

WTF is a back dimple? That just makes me think of muffin tops.

Try googling them. There's even a wikipedia article on them.

That's weird. It makes a woman look defective. Even more so when they're pierced.

Being a woman myself, I can say that my boyfriend has said he likes a couple of these things. I don't think most of them are all that weird, perhaps I'm just very accepting of different things.

My boyfriend does seem to like watching me put on makeup (even though I wear very little) and also likes when I have none, I stopped wearing concealer because he said it smells funny. Stretch marks... idk, I have them, but I've never had kids and don't plan to either. I wear glasses, but only for about a year and a half, and when I first got them he really liked them. Working out is a bit of a funny thing, I think he likes it for one reason only: boobs jiggling, lol. Mine are rather large so when I run he jokes around telling me to be careful not to knock myself out with them. Wearing his clothes is something I just like to do, not sure if he likes it or not, but he lets me so I guess so?

Stretch marks? Really guys? O.o
They are one of women's worst enemies (besides cellulite) so please spread the word and make the female population happy as hell <3

Ha well I ain't one of um but at least there are people out there that like women's insecurities!

I couldn't even imagine that there would be one man (excluding some pretty heavy fetish stuff like really huge and deep red stretch marks), let alone this many on a single topic.
But of course there are people out there who love women's insecurities since we have so many that it's hard to find something that we don't feel insecure about at some point of our lives xD

Everyone has insecurities and no one is perfect, and I find it quite nice that people would like it but Stretch marks would go on the fetish list as you put rather than whatever this article is suggesting, though nobody is perfect and everybody has to be realistic and look beyond what is shown on the outside no doubt! :D

Well the term fetish is a pretty wide one and could actually include everything from the list but I do agree that this one, seeing as this is the first time in my life I've heard about someone liking this, falls under the more rare things that people find attractive/sexually appealing so we might call it a fetish.
But let us not. Let us leave all of us women dreaming of all men just wanting to see stretch marks on women. And ideally cellulite xD

Thank god I'm too old to see those two as role models. I've passed my teens before these two established themselves as "role models". Give me Charlize Theron or Angelina Jolie any day xD

A bit of off topic but I just have to say it to someone since I've already mentioned Charlize...
Have you seen Snow white and the huntsman? As a woman I am deeply offended in Charlize's name that they would cast Kristen Stewart to be the one who is fairer than her. There. Had to be said. xD

Haha I have not, but I have heard that argument somewhere! Kristen Stewart is not appealing to me at all! Hollywood do tend to have strange casts though!
I expect a Pulp Fiction Reboot with Justin Bieber, Demi Lavato, Channing Tatum and of course Jonah Hill :( (Not actually happening, but blame me if it does, but I expect some royalties!)
Ah life goes on I suppose and originality withers!

I applaud your good taste (which is now generally implied as you have shown reason in the Stewart matter)!
And as for Pulp Fiction- I never managed to force myself to watch it past the first 10mins, it's just too "I'm gonna force blood and "oh-I'm-so-uber-cool" attitude down your throats" for me. xD

Its a great movie but you are right as it has alot of blood but I really enjoyed it personally, do not recall any stretch marks though xD

Well, talking about Tarantino, From dusk till dawn does not show any stretch marks but it does improve a woman's confidence- when you see the gorgeous Salma Hayek loose balance in her high heels while doing the snake dance you just feel so much better knowing that even she isn't 100% perfect. xD

Ha well, I am sure she possesses a few stretch marks, so I would not be too down on Salma Hayek!

I'm not sure... If it weren't for her stumbling there I would have bet that she is some sort of deity xD

But it's not even about insecurities. If I had a woman and she would have stretch marks I'd like her to be proud of them and her whole body. I like a confident woman, ESPECIALLY with all the irregular things she'd have on her body.

I've always thought my stretch marks were cute. <3

And I never really understood why they get such a bad rep? I mean, we all went through puberty. We all have them. /shrug

Well actually, I know women who don't have them. I know A LOT more women who do, but there are those who do not. It all depends on how hydrated your skin is at the time of the sudden growth/gaining weight/...
But trust me, if you'd have seen some of the worse cases of stretch marks that I've seen you'd know why they have such a bad rep. It can be pretty gruesome when they are really wide and a dark red color. :(

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yeah, I've seen those and they don't freak me out either. They're interesting. I may be weird but I find that unique and sexy :)
Besides, they often fade with time, often to the point of being white which is you don't even notice anymore until you take a closer look.

^ That's pretty much what I was gonna say in response to Luxy, lol. Although I'm sure it still has to do with other factors, other than being hydrated. I was pretty athletic and outdoorsy when I was a teen, so I was always pretty well hydrated. I still got a bunch of stretch marks basically overnight when I had suddenly developed an ass and hips. :v

And I used to have a couple of those - really wide and dark purple. But like OP said, they fade to white in no time, and then you just have this cute dimpled line.
I still think they're cute and fun to play with.. but my sister hates her's because she's a little overweight. So I dunno, maybe my opinion would be different if I had any that weren't so easily concealed in public.

I don't think they're bad rep. I've yet to see any woman complaining about them. And even models have them (yes, THOSE models).

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I don't think so actually. Women don't complain about stretch marks much. They complain about fat the most :3 But yeah, stretch marks make body more interesting IMO, more unique in a way. I'm so NOT in favor of "your average looking body" with no special marks or anything like the ones they photoshop in magazines to conceal every little thing. Yuck, I hate perfection, it's so damn boring.

I think in regards to women with stretch marks, people accept them, I do not see them as a turn on, or a turn off, You have to be shallow to react negativity towards someone with Stretch marks, same can be said with women with Love Handles and a bit of a tummy, these are stubborn areas and takes alot of work to get rid of so these three are acceptable (nor turn on or turn off)

those list is crap.

her body chemistry signaling a compatible immune system via pheromones is the most important thing that makes you like her.

on top some other factors like education, intelligence, personality and figure top that off, but if the chemistry does not fit, the rest will not help.

oh, and if she is currently fertile she will be more attractive than if she is not.

We are not talking about breeding compatibility but things you like to see on women. Imagine if you were looking a pic of a beautiful girl on the web, you can't smell her and yet you still might find her sexy.
Now I'm not saying that there isn't truth behind your scientific point of view but that wasn't the point of this discussion.

well even if you base it on a picture its mostly symmetry and a 'healthy look'.

people often fool themselves by finding 'rational' explanations for things they feel/do because of influences and effects they cannot control.
