I had tried to enter a giveaway after entering a few already, and a page popped up from chrome saying

Content from cm.netseer.com, a known malware distributor, has been inserted into this web page. Visiting this page now is very likely to infect your computer with malware.

thats a part of it, anyone else find this? false alarm?

i was using it until a few months ago when a forum post was made about people saying we should turn it off to help the site which many did, but its been off for a month or 2 at least

Not having adblock on for Steamgifts helps cg to maintain the site and keep making great giveaways. Typically I have adblock off for most sites except ones that employ shady ad providers, like ones that use malware injectors and such.

It popped up for me as well. I had to re-open the page because the prompt forces the page to close :S I'm using a secure computer at my workplace with more than enough protection, so I'm guessing it's a false alarm.

I'm glad I'm not the only one!

i have it but its not running on this site, but its an ad on the site not the site itself. so adblock will work

All ads from cm.netseer.com have been flagged by google for malware as there was really one such ad from them containing malware, it should be ok if u have adblock on
