Actually, the best thing that could be done about that, is use the steam database of "games we are not interested in".
If people recall, when looking at your discovery queue it's easy to add a game in the "not interested list". And this is forever, permanent. (unless changed again through store page of the game)
So why does steamgift not benefit from this database since it connects with steam anyway?? It would save us tons of trouble, and filter the GAs MUCH much better for each and everyone of us. Unless I'm missing something this is a must feature to implement.

I think that this "not interested" from Steam discovery quere is internal Steam thing and noone is able to get this data using Steam API. At least I have never heard that someone would use this data in any way.

I currently ignore 3,118 games on this website to cut down on entering giveaways on games I don't want. However, with the way the site is constructed, all of this manually. And what I mean by manually, I click the "eye" icon to ignore the game, which then refreshes the website and then I have to scroll my way back to my original position so I can keep looking through giveaways. Not a big deal by any stretch, but it gets old after 3,000 times.
Now, I am glad that giveaway settings are site-loaded, rather than via a mod, but I think being able to ignore the game without having to reload the page (only after I do so which makes the ignore changes to take effect), would go a long way to expediting the process of hiding giveaways for games that people do not want. It would also be helpful to hide giveaways you've already entered; I recall the SG+ doing that.
Best
