Multiplayer games that you loved but recently no one plays them

Dogfighter, bought it and experienced totally dead multiplayer ;( and playing with bots isnt so fun.

Terribly underrated game. I have the first one and for me, it's a solid multiplayer game. Yes, game mode looks like Battlefield and it doesn't innovate at all, but graphically it's really nice.
Still, if you want something similar just play Tribes Ascend.

Oh, I don't know why, that game is ugly, really really ugly u.u

Anyway nowadays for a multiplayer game to success it needs to have:
-COD/BF name
-shi'load of rehashed maps to be sold at gold price
-Premium paid service aka pay-to-win

It's a shame, but that's what it is, very few games are populated nowadays without none of these. And new released games become deserted after 3-4 weeks since they come out. You know, trending and following the bandwagon sucks :(

Totally untrue.

I don't think it's dieing. But lot of players (including me) are playing only with their friends on their private servers. It's simple, lot of players on public servers are i*iots and on Suicidal and Hell on Earth you must have 100% reliance to other players. Normal and Hard are piece of cake, it's easy, but in Suic and HoE aren't any places for big mistakes. That's the reason why we are playing on my friend's server. And yea, it's sad that people are not playing KF very much. That feel, when we beated Hellride on Hell on Earth, I was never more proud of myself in any other game. And I am still proud that I am playing this game. And I can't wait for Halloween and for Twisted Christmas, it's gotta be awesome!

I really wish Zero Gear had more players, really had fun playing with people on SG chat. The controls were a bit laggy due to our ping though.

just checked GameRanger and there are currently 4 CoD 2 servers online, and even 3 CoD 1 servers :)

Yeah, that was a bit of a pissoff.

The devs tried so hard to get the playerbase going, too. Giving out extra copies to purchasers, etc.

Unfortunately people seem to find it difficult & just give up, it's amazing how just a small amount of strategy and team play can confuse 'gamers' nowadays. Ok it's not perfect but it's a very decent game by some talented indie developers and honestly far more fun & original than any other shooter (of a similar genre) in recent times.

What happened to Breach anyway? One day it was a new release, some weeks later they removed it from the store.

GRID is probably the best racing game I've played on PC, but online community was shit - too many people braking in the middle of the road, racing in reverse, etc. Collision ruined the multiplayer component unfortunately.

I loved that game, was very sad when they closed down the servers.

Only played the second game in the series on the GC, but I had loads of fun with it.

Unfortunately, my computer can't handle it and it lags. So I never play it. I can play the first AvP, but it usually lacks people to play with.
