Thanks for your opinion, I'll add it to my list, and I think I better stick with the normal version without DLCs, seem almost all of them for Multiplayer mode, which basically dead.

Well, there are a few that I really enjoyed having, like the Tomb of the Lost Adventurer and... Wait, where are all of the other non-multiplayer DLC's? O_o Well shoot!

Ah, found 'em... They're sold separately (not part of the GOTY pack, which sucks):

Animal Instinct, Headshot Reticule, Agility Skill, Pistol Burst, and Pistol Silencer.

I highly recommend all of them (plus the Tomb,) though the Pistol ones are less useful than the others ;)

They're all in Tomb Raider: Adventure Pack, right? kind of mix reviews, but seem useful for lazy one like me lol.

Hasn't been listed here yet, but RE:ORC http://store.steampowered.com/app/209100/ is on sale for the first time in 2-3 years on Steam. Lets hope that Capcom at some point gets the rest of the G4WL titles into Steamworks proper.

Toren is very tempting but as it's released just over 6 months ago my hopes are it will get a 75% discount next winter sale.
Not sure I will stay this strong till the 1st of December though.

Postal III is 75% off/$5 for the first time on Steam. Prior lowest was $10 on Steam and once it was £2.99 on GamersGate UK (UK site is gone now though?). I wouldn't call it a gem but a lot of people, myself included, had a... morbid curiosity.

it is US$44.49 for me on GMG as the charge another US$15 for NZ & Aus & my exchange rate is currently pretty shit & steam now uses my currency so it's currently US$8.20 +fees cheaper on steam than GMG @ 36.29USD =P

Backgammon Blitz 70% off
BB was released 2 weeks ago, I'm very happy with this purchace (grabbed it with only 15% discount, though). This game is a must for everyone who likes to play backgammon: cool visuals, amazing soundtrack, different game modes, multiplayer with leaderboards. The AI is ok, but it won't be a real challenge to experienced backgammon players.

Culpa Innata 80% off
One of the best adventure games I've ever played alongside with The Longest Journey and Full Throttle.

Crowntakers, a fun little game, -85% (2,24€ !) : http://store.steampowered.com/app/294370/
Renowned Explorer, a very surprising game, -40% (11,99€), really worth it : http://store.steampowered.com/app/296970/
Melody's Escape awesome musical game, -50% (4,49€!) : http://store.steampowered.com/app/270210/ (early access but it's very polished)
Invisible Inc. a new hit from klei, -50% (9,99€) : http://store.steampowered.com/app/243970/
Ittle Dew, very fun puzzle game, -50% (4,99€) : http://store.steampowered.com/app/241320/

Secrets of Grindea, not on sale sadly... But such a wonderfull game if you like old ARPG (secrets of mana...), it's cheap anyway (13,99€) : http://store.steampowered.com/app/269770/ (early access, story is not finished but what is out is very polished and very fun, worth the money :))

Ahah maybe, but the game is worth the price, old bundle or not :)
I really don't care about the "great deal" more about good game/good price.
But yeah the game is not new, so I guess you can easily find it cheaper.

How about duke nukem forever? Not as good as it was supposed to be, but hey, still duke right?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

but hey, still duke right?

NO! They took out everything that was fun about Duke Nukem.

Duke Nukem 3D had great level designs that weren't super linear, unlike in DNF. You could carry all the weapons in the game with you, unlike in DNF. DN3D also had lots of secrets, I don't really recall DNF having secret areas, if it does then they must be very rare compared to DN3D.

Duke Nukem Forever is to Duke Nukem 3D almost the same thing as Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel is to other Fallout games. We should all just pretend it doesn't exist.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

If I'm not wrong they made already in one of the updates possibility to carry so many weapons as you want it in DNF.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Did some research, it lets you carry 4 instead of 2 weapons. According to the wiki the game has 8 weapons, so the update allows you to carry half of the weaponry. Not as bad as being able to only carry 2, not as good as being able to carry them all.

It's good. Not as good as DN3D, hell no, but still good.

Sadly, Gearbox should did it from scratch. Check out The Doctor Who Cloned Me DLC - it shows how good it could be.
