If I am understanding this right, the "ref=" part of the URL is a reference link. And if that is indeed the case, please remove everything from that point in the link as ref links are not allowed on the forums.

Also worth noting that this is not a digital copy, and is only available as a deal to Prime members.

Also keep in mind, this is mentioned in the Guidelines :

Referral links are not allowed in the community, and if you choose to post a link, please be sure all referral codes have been removed.

Do not presume that we are trying to diss on you for posting a deal. Just make sure that the post doesn't violate rules in ANY way.

Guys, put down your pitchforks. In Amazon URLs, ref= is for internal referencing (i.e., determining how you got to a certain page so Amazon can see how people move through or to their site). It is not an affiliate reference, and no one gets paid to include them. The thing you want to look for in Amazon URLs is tag=, which is used for tracking affiliates.

Thank you for clarifying this. Just needed someone to verify this for me. OP, don't mind the ref comments, and leave the post as is.

Because many people can think that this is some ref link (they are illegal here).

Its not. I wouldnt remove "Wt0k7" from this pages URL just because people might think that redircts to a GA.

Dude, chill. There isn't any reference information in his URL and never was. You're correct that the ref= part is unnecessary and the link will work just fine without it, but it isn't a referral link in the manner that you think it is. I know Amazon's URL scheme makes people get out the pitchforks pretty frequently, but it isn't as intuitive as you think. https://www.steamgifts.com/go/comment/Br9Gov7

Edit: thanks for the blacklist. It must be crushing to find out that sometimes you're demonstrably wrong.

"ref" on Amazon is not a referral link, it's a reference link.
