I'm gonna say Red Dead Redemption. I had completly forgot about it untill I booted up my PS3 again the other day for some serious gaming time.

It has to be a game with a very high replay value (so I would never get bored), for this reason I choose Battlefield. I never get bored of it :P

One of the Football Manager games. They're the only games I can think of with that sort of longevity/replayability.

You called it. I was going to say Dark Souls because of how much I love that game but there's not much replay value. Minecraft, with all it's user-created content, provides infinite replayability. I've logged more hours into it than any other game I'm convinced, and I still go back to it once in a while.

So good call man!

Minecraft I guess, it's a sandbox with a lot of things to do, the game with the highest replyability out there, and is being constantly updates.

Yeah I would have to agree to that, minecraft is like that old, ugly, always whiling ex-girlfriend you keep going back to but it's still fun to fuck around with.

Neverwinter Nights. With the community mods, that game can replace my entire library. The only reason I stopped playing it because I don't have unlimited gaming time.

I prefer the sequel when Chris Avellone got his hands on it.

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

The sequel is good, too, but the modding community for it hasn't caught up to the first, yet. (That, and the first game was less clunky in terms of camera, controls, etc.)

As a side note, the official campaigns for both the first and second series improved as time went on.
