Quick Question About Keys

I just realized that I have an extra key for a game from awhile back. Do keys ever expire? Is there a way for me to test that the key still works? I plan on giving it away, but would hate for the key to, for some reason, not work in the end.

No they never expire unless it's been used.

They won't expire. If you plan on giving it away on here, please make sure it's not on the exploited/banned key list viewable here.

EDIT: Unless you just want to post it in forums or in the chat.

Okay great. I'm pretty sure my key still works then. It's a Lucid key, back from when they were all over steam

Well if you're talking about the Lucid keys that was given away in bulks on a .txt file on reddit. Then most likely it's been taken. But if you got this key somewhere else. Then it could be a whole different story.

This. Unfortunately, Lucid keys are banned, (unless it's a giftable copy). You can still give it away on the forums or chat...just not "officially", if you get what I'm saying. Thanks for your generosity!

Banned in the sense that you can't make a formal giveaway for it, yes. Not that you can't give it away.
