If you go into it not expecting it to be a blockbuster then yes. I had fun with it and most people on my list who played it enjoyed it too.

Its a good game, not the BEST GAEM EVUR, but its pretty cool (and $5 is a good price for it)

I actually bought the Balls of Steel version and don't regret it. Don't expect CoD or Modern Warfare, this is a parody of the whole genre and especially of itself. If you don't expect something it's not, you will have a great time.

I bought it for 4.99, and I think it was worth it. The only problem with this game is that is sucked for the first 2 hours. After a while to turned into a real Duke game. I haven't tired the Clone DLC yet

If you're expecting it to have evolved/devolved like almost every other FPS franchise (tons of generic enemies -> fewer 'smarter' enemies) then dont bother. Its more like Serious Sam or Painkiller, move on to an area and shoot everything, move on to...

If you play it expecting for some mind-blowing experience, no. It's a mediocre title that used Duke Nukem's name and hype as advertisement, it offers basically nothing new and below average try-hard content.

I'm one of the few who had a blast with it and probably played it through in one sitting.

Get it for 5 bucks! There is far worse for this money out there. If you played earlier computer games you will have a blast with DNF.

Play the demo. I found it to be bloody awful. The humor is stale and dated and the gameplay to me feels like a poor console FPS from 2005. Bulletstorm and Serious Sam 3 do everything Duke was intended to do better, IMO. Your mileage may vary.
