All the games that have an * after they're name in the "Create a giveaway" option are bundles.
Edit : And yes Dead Island was in a bundle recently from humble bundle called "humble deepsilver bundle". No point in reading the faq (as you say you did) if you don't understand it. Cheers and read more but not in vain !
