They are 50% off now in the in-game store and I made some trades considering they'll be back to 100% price after the sales, but some people told me it's possible they'll keep it 50% like the backpack expander or something (I'm not into TF2 so I don't know much about the item's prices).

In the last summer/winter sale, was at 50% too?

No, it's just because Valve gave everyone a backpack expander + a Tour of Duty Ticket for Christmas.

It didn't happen last Christmas though, so it could or could not stay at 50%. Not sure.

What I meant is that they are 50% off now in the in-game store. I think that's why they are also 50% cheaper on the Market as well.

And I gave you an example that has to do with the same thing. It was given out to everyone, which means it's value will be less.

That surely makes them less valuable, of course, but the main reason is that people are re-selling the tickets. Check it out. That means that if the price goes back to 100%, in 1-2 weeks it will go back to the original market price too. That's why I'm asking if in the past sales they did this 50% offer too.

They were at around 2 ref even without the discount before as well, the only thing that made them rose in price is the Two Cities update hype

Nope, and people have a point with Backpack Expander, it's "sale" ended up being permanent post sale price. Quite a lot of people bought them to sell them for profit later, only to end up semi-scammed by that.

Nah, i don't think they'll keep it at 50%, it's their loss if they do so :P

Like they didn't with backpack expanders? -.-

MVM lost any novelty factor it had, they might decide to boost sales by cutting the price as they milked it out already?

It seems to me they only go cheap during sales, same as it happens with the keys: link.

Tickets are cheap now because there's a sale on the Mann Co. Store & everyone got a free one from Valve. The only reason why keys are cheaper is because a lot of people want Steam Wallet for the sales, and the amount of keys flooded into the market makes the price go down a bit.

I know that, what I really want to know is if they have done this 50% off in the past sales too.

Keys weren't handed to everyone in Christmas, were they now?

This again, really? It's like I'm saying one thing and you're discussing another thing completely different. The reason keys are cheaper is because everyone is selling them now because of the trades (I have 300+ keys in my inv for example). The only reason tickets are cheaper is because they are 50% off now. Simple as that. Not because they were given for free. If you look closely you'll see the same people are selling tons of tickets, so they're either re-selling or selling the ones they got from trades. Stop saying that tickets are cheaper because everyone got 1 for free, that doesn't explain at all the 50% drop in price. Would explain at most a 5-10% drop. You already said that and it doesn't account for the 50% drop, so there's no need in saying that over and over again.
