So I've been saving cash for some games and some other human beings are probably doing the same.
So I thought "why not making a thread where people post their fav games with a reason why" so I or WE can get idea of what game to buy.
I'll start : Postal 2 Complete - The game was released in 2003 so the graphics are old, but the gameplay and customization is incredibly huge, so is the replayability.
Your old laptop can even run it.

Crusader Kings II - I can't stop play it. I'm the Emperor of Tamriel trying to get Morrowind province but it's a bit tricky because they are the second in Nirn with their army :c

Mount and Blade: Warband, old game but great mechanics and just add a mod to it and it feels "like a whole new game" and also builds hype for Warband 2

Terraria. Since the game has no story, there is truly no end. Your builds are only limited by what you can imagine due to the new update.

Batman: Arkham City. Why? Because that game makes you feel like you are Batman. You have a huge map to explore which is full with side missions, collectibles and riddles. You also have a fantastic combat system, amazing soundtracks and gorgeus visuals.

Spelunky or Binding of Isaac, I can't choose. Both of these games grants you hundreds of hours gameplay, which is awesome.

Mount and Blade Warband, Alot of mods, good community. Roleplay abilities (Persistent World). Most players who play this game already got 1000+ hours. You can marry, have your own kingdom and rule Calradia!

Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne. Do I really have to give reasons? it's a brilliant, almost PERFECT game. It has a deep, dark, sad and meaningful story, three-dimensional characters the likes of which you don't see very often in gaming, it has that perfect noire atmosphere to it, the gameplay is absolutely awesome and without faults, managing to always be challenging, sometimes hard as hell even, but NEVER coming off as frustrating, cheap or needlessly unforgiving, the graphics are a huge improvement over the first game and actually looked quite nice, for the time and as an added bonus, it has absolutely brutal and off the charts violence. One of the greatest games I've ever played and I am enormously proud to own it on Steam. Wasn't an easy pick, as I own quite a few genius games on Steam: Grand Theft Auto IV, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl, Bioshock, Deus Ex, F.E.A.R, Half Life 2, The Witcher, Painkiller, Red Faction. But this one really stands out of the crowd...

I have about 300 hours in The Binding of Isaac, the randomly generated levels makes it the best $5 you'll ever spend. I do like Postal 2 though, it's great that the devs are still updating it.
