Well hello there.

I know that is is totally not the forum where to ask this question ,but I really dont have anyone else to ask this.

So , well , I have Drawing / Drafting / Descriptive Geometry ( or what ya' call it in English ) , and I have to draw a cut cylinder in 45 degree angle . All is done , but I do not know how to use Lecals ( that's how we say it Latvian - It looks like this ).

I'd be more than happy to know how to use them , as basically all that is left is drawing the sides of cut cylinder , and once im done with drawing this and 2 other objects , I WILL NOT HAVE TO GO TO LECTURES ANYMORE !!

Thanks in advance!

Erm... Mark a minimum of three points, rotate the things until you get a curve that fits, draw a line.

looks like the English name for them is a "French Curve" -- looked up a few things out of curiosity, since I never knew if there were any technical aspects to their dimensions, and so far, it doesn't sound like there really are -- mkrnic's advice sounds solid.

Thank you for giving me the English name. Now I can actually google about it :D

There isn't really any kind of "rule" to using a french curve. You lay it down and move it around between your starting and ending points until you find a portion of the guide that resembles the curve you want to draw.
