None. We don't have any laws regarding games. There's no age restrictions or anything else, every 8 year old can buy GTA in store.
There are some games not available in my country, but it's because of regional restrictions, so it's a completely different thing and it's publisher's decision/fault.

not exactly. with censorship law (2013) they able to ban games to in Turkey. And about games, Radio Television Supreme Board and Telecommunications Communication Presidency has both authority to ban somehow (they act like government's hit-man btw). They just don't care games yet. But based on crushing waves of censorship developed in country for last decade, most likely we'll see some cases pretty soon.

All Rockstar games, Dark souls, South park (WHY WHY?!!?)
there is probably more but I can't remember now
The country is Saudi Arabia. Digital copies are banned by Steam (or probably the publisher) automatically so they avoid getting sued and stuff but if you go anywhere to any local store you'll find Physical copies of the games anywhere they don't really go investigating and removing the banned games they just say oh yes this is banned
TL;DR Quote from Wikipedia "It should be noted that most of these games can be found in some stores due to the government's lack of enforcing the banning of these games. Many major stores, however, will not stock the following banned titles."

This is funny because in Saudi Arabia the book Mein Kampf of Hitler was top 3 in the Virgin stores, although it is not allowed to be printed due to copyrights.

We have enough that theres a wiki page on it, we didn't have a R18 classification for ages so anything deemed to be highter them MA15 was banned. We finally got a R18 classification recently, but stupid board of people are still banning some games, and editing others for example Saints Row IV was edited.

My country doesn't ban games. Publishers does. Example: All 2K games except Civilization.

i didn't do a research but i know some G4WL games like Dark Souls or Bulletstorm are not reachable here. i have no idea why. but i guess it's related to G4WL. not about my country or goverment.

I think New Vegas is still available on consoles. Only the PC version is unavailable in India, last I checked!

Take a look at the date at the right side of the list, old games have no entries like [A] / [B] cause of an old system, but they are banned in germany. Games with [A] are not allowed to sell or show people under 18 years and and games with [B] are banned in germany, you´re not allowed to sell them...

Fallout 3! Microsoft soiled themselves thinking that hurting "cultural sensitivities" of the people of India might probably trigger some kind of mass outrage! That's pretty big in a nation of 1 billion!
Therefore the game was never even released in India, neither on PC nor consoles! Just a unique example of video game banning!

No games are banned OR region restricted here (as far as i know)

I'm from Germany so there are lots and lots of titles that are censored and a few that are banned (or were banned).
Off the top of my head:
Left 4 Dead Franchise (Censored)
Portal (Censored)
Half-Life Franchise (Censored)
BioShock (first installment, Censored)
Sleeping Dogs (Censored)
Team Fortress 2 (Censored)
Dead Island Franchise (Not available)
As someone mentioned it, I think Manhunt is banned in Germany for obvious reasons. The censorship in the above mentioned titles usually is about gore. Nothing out of the ordinary.

At least with Dead Island you can still pick the game up via import. Personally think it sucks that your government forces what they do on games. I can understand it.. but still sucks.

Wrong. It was banned for the same reason as Saints Row IV was intially. Taking of drugs is ok but being rewarded with drugs is somehow not ok.
Regardless, it is only illegal to sell Risen or an uncensored version of SRIV here. It is totally legal to pay a friend overseas to gift you a copy :)

indeed we dont as far as I know
but who knows till how <.<

De van. Injustice Gods Among Us.
Yes there is: Injustice Gods Among Us. Reason: There is a DLC costume for Superman, which shows the sickle and the hammer ( Soviet Russian autocracy symbol ). For this f*ckin 1 DLC costume WB refused to sell the game in Hungary. And Steam doesn't list it either.

Aside from Injustice: Gods Among Us yeah there are not many Banned games, but region restrictions are quite common on steam. Skyrim was unavailable for 2 years before it became available, Fallout New Vegas DLCs were half a year late as well (this was all due to Cenega though). I'm fairly sure there are other ones too, but none comes to mind right now.

This is one of the main reasons why I support piracy. Don't get me wrong, I have full library of games on Steam and love to contribute to the developer that makes quality games, but as long as this shit exists with hypocritical countries banning "inappropriate" content that you actually have to buy first to see and at the same time allow naked Miley Cyrus on a national TV for everyone to see, piracy will always have at least some of my support.
EDIT: Oh yeah, none of the banned games here in Croatia.

In Italy several ministers tried to have some controversial games banned (GTA, Manhunt etc.), but no games have actually been banned to date.
There are ESRB ratings, but hardly anyone does enforce them, you can have a 10 years old walk into a store and get CoD or GTA, no questions asked. It's up to parents to watch their kids.

Just an off-topic thread about a subject I am pretty curious about.
I will start first. Living in Singapore, widely known as the country that bans chewing gums, canes SOBs for vandalism and hangs people for drug-related offences, censorship and banning of games are surprisingly rare.
Banned/censored games
Mass Effect - homosexuality [Ban lifted]
The Darkness - excessive violence [Ban lifted for Playstation only]
And that's it?
Some games like all GTA games cannot be bought online. All games including the ones only for 18+ can be bought in a game store, provided you show your ID.
So what are the games censored or banned in your country? Leave your comments below.
