Imo nintendo might be walking the same path with the can't use our games in youtube LPs , making their games have less screentime and therefore less possible sales.

Except Nintendo got rid of that policy and instead set it up so channels could negotiate a deal that gave Nintendo a split of the profit. Not the best but severely better than what was before. Plus Nintendo has so much money that it would never happen.

yeah - if you wanna make pro-nitendo review/critics/lets-play - sure. But good luck trying to criticise their games ang get this deal. It's like censorship - you either talk good about our games or we will not sign deal with you and you won't be able to talk about them at all.

what does this one movie has to do with what I'm talking about? I'm talking about actual game critics and reviewers - and a lot of people, including me, find this videos great and necessary. But how can you make a review if you have to get permission from publisher to post it?

Nothing, it was a joke, I explained why I like Nintendo after no matter the reason you dislike them, I like the content they produce.

That's because RE4 is a remastered edition that is still pretty new. Yes, it's based an old game (some would argue the best of the Resident Evil series), but the original PC port was bad and this new edition is far from a full-priced game release so I think it's reasonable.

Well i just hope Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft wont purchase capcom, otherwise capcom franchise will be exclusive of one platform and that sucks.
My best wishes is that Sega or Namco Bandai purchase Capcom before someone else... yeah maybe square enix too but i still think square enix is not much into revive past experiences or doing cross overs...

Microsoft can't buy a Japanese company, but I agree that i would suck if Nintendo or Sony scooped them up and made future Capcom games their console exclusive IP's

Of all the companies that could buy it up, I'd support Nintendo the most. Heck, they brought Megaman back from the dead.
I honestly believe though that with Capcom's experience, Nintendo could actually break into the PC market too (although it's more likely that they'll just have future Capcom games exclusive to their consoles if they do buy them).

an advice to potential buyers.
dont buy capcom as soon as its released, wait a little bit for capcom to update (it might need ingame balance), capcom will eventually get released as super capcom--> ultra capcom ---> ultra capcom super mega edition again and again.
