I just finished watching Virgin Territory aka Lemon Stealing Whores. To be fair, movie is technically a porno but the plot is absolutely incredible. Set against the sheer harrowing power of the exquisite screenplay and James Deen's memorable performance as the male lead, nothing can stop Lemon Stealing Whore from being one of those rare films that has a genuinely haunting quality, a film that lingers in the imagination long after apparently more accomplished and considerably more expensive pieces of work have forever disappeared, a film that dares to actually try to say something, and say it with wit, bravado, flair and a basic disregard for the supposed rules of timorous moviemaking

That was dropped into S. Gift chat one day and i watched it for some odd reason.
I didn't regret it though because of the great acting and interesting storyline.
Too bad I don't have access to the rest of the film and can only critic the beginning.

I like how lot of stuff in this movie is open for viewer's interpretation. For example, i would want to know how Herman could afford to grow such gorgeous lemon trees. I decided to tackle the issue early on in the film so as to not detract from the raw acting that occurs during the scene where Herman and Milly catch the lemon whore Sasha stealing their lemons.
I think the impact of lemon thievery shines through beautifully when Herman punishes Sasha. The punishment is so brutal and unrelenting he uses his physical assault as an outlet for his inner emotional termoil that stems from the fear of owning beautiful lemons trees that were intended to be an addition to his life, but slowly have consumed his life because the constant need to watch out for lemon stealing whores.
And take Sasha for example! Who IS she? We know she's a lemon whore, but what else? What is her history? How did her past mold her into the woman she is today? So many questions left unanswered
