If playing a game is trouble, then I keep my Fortix :). Having 2 is even more fun!

On a more serious note, this is a puzzle and it is not really that hard to find it :)

It tells you in the op.

It is deliberate. If you miss your enemy, you lose a multiplier. If you hit you gain one.
So having some sort of autofire would contradict that. BUT there is a second weapon to unlock.

Hint: The easteregg has nothing to do with score :).

I agree, for seasoned shmup players it is too easy atm. I am currently trying around different ideas to improve that. The boss is getting an overhaul atm, so he has a more streamlined and interesting behavior. Also, that teleporting bug is annoying when he reaches the right side.

The game also needs some more perks. But this is only a preview version, so I limited the perks.
But thanks for the hint with the base. I play my game intensivly, but at some point you lose the eye for some things and just think it is fine.
That's why criticism like yours is very valuable.

I just checked, you lose multiplier if you miss if you have 300. Yeah, it is not hard to miss, but that mechanic exists to discourage from spamming shots without resorting to some energy based mechanic.

That's a tricky one. Doesn't really help at all. I think it actually confused me more.

I think a cat will suddenly appear in the screen and we need to click it or something like that, but I couldn't figure it out yet lol

Hehehe, I have just patched it yesterday and a new patch that overhauls the backgrounds is about to come :)
