Nice Easter themed avatar, Jatan. Does anyone know if Amazon's Tropico 4: Collectors Bundle is a Steam key? It says "Requires Kalypso Account to activate" but the base game on Steam requires the Kalypso launcher. And Amazon is price matching the current Tropico 4 Steam sale, making me think it might be a Steam key.

Sound like that's just steam activation instructions.
Most Steam games have thus 3 KB. (Origina games too could have)
and it loads html file which tells how to activate :P

Thanks for the info, got Vampire the Masquerade. Missed the sale on Steam - I meant to check the game out as I wasn't familiar with it and was too slow to act. Watched some gameplay this morning, liked the look of it and was a bit annoyed I'd missed it. Not anymore though!

Most definitely play it with THIS ESSENTIAL PATCH. It takes awhile to download, but the Plus(+) version is beyond worth it.
Due to recent traffic, people have also been posting alternate download places for the patch here.

You can't tell by the key, but once you've activated the game you can see the exact Steam license and Steam DB entry:
Run your client with -dev parameter
Type in console licenses_for_app xxxxxx - x is appID
There's also a way to enable the dev console in an already running client, something with the steam:// command, but I can't find it at the moment.
