Possibly you just look at a specific subcategory ( -> filter ). You need to set the inventory to "show all kinds"

If your filter just shows a specific category searching by name wouldn't show them.
Also if you access your inventory via browser instead of Steam client you might be logged out and turned on the inventory Option to hide games for strangers.

I would assume it is a game that you have played before but then added cards?I had this happen with COH since I logged enough hours before card's were added it dropped all at once.

Solution: it's a glitch. Your profile's Item Showcase says "3,278 Items Owned". However, looking at your inventory page: 1,820 (Dota) + 1,327 (Steam) + 87 (CSGO) + 21 (TF2) + 19 (Primal) = 3,274 → you're missing 4 items.
Coupons have probably expired, or were removed for the Steam sales.
