It has come to my attention that OnLive has move its service across to europe.
Not only that, but they are running a offer 1 pound for a full game. Only for your first game.

More info

I've spend some time testing the service. I waited in a queue to login. Guess, there is quite a few people trying to get in. After a few minutes I was in. Looks great, OnLive detected my xbox controller, no problem. First thing, I checked out is the arena section. Indeed, I was able to spectate people while they play all sort of games. Instantly. Ok, next the market I must try these trials. After a few failed attempts to launch any newer games I managed to get into Just Cause 1. It felt responsive. I quit JC1 and got dropped out. Not sure how it handles in a FPS for example. Still trying to connect back

Update, finally got connected back. I managed to play AC:Brotherhood, metro 2033, Dirt3 and few other games. I love it. Instantly in-game. Ok, graphics. The games seems to run at a very precisely chosen setting. I would say that look somewhere around medium. I ran Dirt3 on my PC at just above 720p and it looks stunning. Compare that to OnLive, I looks less stunning. I am talking solely about the game graphics. The video feed from OnLive on the other hand is sometimes very sharp and nice. Sometimes, its blocky and blurry like a low-res youtube video. It changes on the fly, so I guess they track how my interenet connection is doing. I am wired by way, not on wifi. As far as responsiveness goes, it good enough for causal gaming. If you are planning to be competitive or play the hardest difficulty where you need split second movements, well.... not so great. I can defensively feel the delay. I imagine you get used to it, if the delay is constant, and integrate it in your play.

Thats all I can think of.

Oh yeah, only paymenet method is by credit card.

Onlive has potential, but it still needs to develop. I'm betting in like 4/5 years it will be a good service to use.

I like the idea

especially how you could essentially trial/buy a game for a few days before buying it physically in a shop or on steam

would I use it to do anything else or even buy a full game on ONLive? NO

Is it only for UK or all of Europe?

In an article they mentioned there were servers outside UK. From the OnLive blog, says just UK.
