I'm not sure I completely understand this inquiry, but I'll try to answer the questions I think you are asking. Last I checked, self-promotion needs to be approved by a site moderator (this might only apply to the forum but double check anyway). Then when you create the giveaway put "[text-to-display][]()(web-address)" in the description to create a clickable link.

Thank you all. Yes, what I meant is basically to promote one of my blogs in the description box of my giveaways (not forum). My blogs are legit without malicious or referral stuff. Additionally I would probably set up a blogpost for each giveaway on my blog to lead a few of my readers to steamgifts so that they can enter my giveaways here too. Entering the giveaways would be only possible here on steamgifts. That was my basic idea.
I have a ticket open here since 5 days but didn´t get an answer yet, which is why I asked in the forums here now too. Thank you all for the help.
So if I understand this right, the link code in the desciption of my giveaway should be markdown not bbcode?
Thank you all again and have a nice day :)

I want to sponsor a couple of games but to be honest I also would like to mention my blog as a sponsor in a fair exchange. I wonder if this is allowed and if so, how can I do this in the description that the links are click-able? I saw some people who did just that, posting a "sponsored by" link. Can somebody explain?
