Don't people usually give away brand new games to promote umm, whatever it is people promote around here? Youtube channels or Steam groups or dodgy key resellers that are exactly the same as ebay and I like money so shut up? :)

And ELEX is a brand new one, so there should be piles of giveaways for it somewhere, right?

But I checked the giveaways page, and there's nothing. :( Maybe there's some region-restricted ones? Or for private groups?

Guess everyone's expecting it to be in a bundle soon? Or maybe thinking it will be buggy or half-finished or a train wreck? :)

Yeah, I dunno either, waiting for a nice big discount myself. :) I mean, I didn't even buy the new Prey or Dishonored 2 or Divinity: Original Sin 2 yet, why roll the dice on this? :)

I've never heard of this game until now.

I remember reading about the game somewhere, but then I forgot about it. Not sure I'd enjoy the sci-fi stuff, but I guess if it were strictly old-timey stuff people would just replay one of their previous games instead. Or maybe play the Witcher 3, which raised the bar too high for ordinary RPG makers to touch... :)

They had an article about it in one of the recent issues of PC Gamer magazine. It looks pretty good!

I should probably Blame Canada, but I'm too lazy to hunt for youtube links. Imagine I found one, though. :)

Yeah, I got this from dlgamer which saved ten bucks or so. Once again Valve cleverly prevented me from giving them my money. Good job, Valve! :)

I just think that Piranha Bytes is not that well known outside Europe.

I guess that makes sense... So maybe people who like RPGs have played one, but don't know who made it... Like Two Worlds, I'd never be able to remember who made those games without cheating and looking it up... :)

Reality Pump. One of the first games i played on my own PC was Heli Heroes. Game by Reality Pump. I finished Two Worlds. I'm still not sure why.

Aha, thank you! :) I seem to remember thinking the system where you could mash your treasure together and make slightly better stuff was so cool that they must have copied it from a better game. :)

But I never figured out what the better game was. So maybe they had that idea all on their own? Seemed like a clever way to deal with trudging back to a vendor to sell your unwanted stuff. I think a lot of RPGs that dump useless weapons and armour on you could have copied the system with no ill effects... :)

I've avoided checking out any of the reviews or trailers or whatevers, but can't decide if it's to avoid being spoiled, or to avoid seeing a bunch of dodgy animations and broken gameplay... :) Just guessing, of course... :)

I don't remember, but it feels like they have all been bundled at some point... Or maybe I'm just telling that to myself so I won't feel bad about buying so many games I've never finished... :(

Thank you! :)

Risen was bundled 4x on HB + 1x on BS
Risen 2 was bundled 2x on HB, 1x on BS and IG
Risen 3 was bundled 1x on HB, BS and IG

That's why I got them myself :D

Ohh man, Gothic 1 and 2 are amazing (2 especially) and Gothic 3 is pretty awesome, but Gothic 3 has THE BEST soundtrack, of any game I`ve ever heard. Kai Rosenkranz did a great job getting an actual orchestra to record it.

They are some of my favorite games, I encourage you to check them out. :)

Wow... I see you have several other private GAs running... do you have another thread directing to those per chance? Maybe there would be something else that I'd might play...

Hmmm, if you're not allergic to ancient RPGs, have you tried any of the old Might & Magic series? I remember sci-fi stuff in those... But don't ask me for any details, that was about a million years ago... :(

Well, keep in mind I'm thinking about the ancient ones, the RPGs, not the "heroes of blabla" stuff. :) The ones like http://store.steampowered.com/app/238750/Might__Magic_X__Legacy/ - only about 500 years older... :)
