Hello!
1 hour ago, I'm searching stuff on steam, and end up in a bot profile.
I add the bot, and basically, he sells 4 sets of summer sales, for 1 tf2 key. and buy 5:1.
My question, maybe a dumb one... Who the fuck will buy this shit?
I'm asking because if I lvl up. and sell all the sets I made, to bots like this, I probably will get 30% off what I spend in lvl up.

every sale there are a couple of people who add a gazillion levels. they just want to show off their e-peen
on the other hand, plenty of people at least craft the badge.

Personally, I sell those trading cards every day and am usually able to buy one or two games with the proceeds

you already lost money if you decide to craft a badge , what difference does it make whether you sell it to the bot or not

Well. Someone with your level talking about losing money. Thats something funny..

that's speaking out of experience.
Also, each set you craft (unless unmarketable) has a given value that you could sell for on steam market (and buy stuff). Hence, even if you get the cards for free you are losing money by crafting.
It is not like lvling up would give you anything else other than a bigger e-peen... once that the small increase in card booster drop rate is not worth it.

and someone with your level would have absolutely no idea how much leveling actually costs if you do it efficiently

the only thing that i really "lost" was the opportunity cost like what is said above

"Only", one friend got to 300+ with spending 1 euro to buy a game which was required to open the market back then. Now he stopped leveling and is actually making money by selling all the cards.

I'm not gonna discuss prices. I'm low level, so I only have 34k xp, that means 340 sets, with this 9.4€ I get 158 sets. If you think you get good exp from event badges, and if you have good friends, you can ask their cards, low-value ones, if they don't want, not speaking in farm cards in multiple accounts and trade all double sets.
One more time, I'm low level, you can get it cheap. I'm not level 200, 300, +++
I know if i rly want get hight level i need spend a good amount of money, but the topic is not about that.

Interesting, how did you buy 158 sets for 9,4€? I checked your profile and it has some level 5 badges, which require minimum of 5 cards, each card is 0,03€. So 4 complete card sets would be 0,6€. This way 158 sets would be around 20+€. And unless all cards cost 0,03€ each in the set, you'll spend much more.

I can say that I spent around the same amount euros that my level is (~150€) on leveling up. Recently I realized it has absolutely no meaning or anything to do with the games that I like to play, so I stopped doing leveling and started selling my cards. And I only sold them on Steam market, which takes quite a lot off you as taxes, is some website offered an ability to trade trading cards for games, I'd definitely use it. I made 520€ from trading cards, booster packs, emoticons and background pictures.

If you assume there aren't any cards and boosters to begin with you would just need a 22:1 bot and buy the keys to use it outside Steam market to achieve that price.

Steam level etc have equal importance to your success in any clicker/management game that you can publicly showcase to others.

There have been some such sites, don't know if any are still working tho.

Something called 100 gems items are one of the reasons. if in 100 sets, 30 of them you get itens that have 100 gems value. you receive 2 from each set. so its 200 gems. and 200 gems you trade for a free set on bots. and ofc. if you buy 1:12 rates, like i see in steamtrades, people selling, it will cost more than 1:20 for example.
Another exemple is in sales events.
You receive cards, and you can trade sets of this cards for gems. and gems for sets
If you recycle everything you make a lot of free sets.
There is many other ways to do that, this one, for me is a faster one, because you dont need 7 days w8 time. in cases where you receive foil cards, etc. etc

Might want to go ahead and remove that link. That's considered calling out and is against the ToS here.

Just a heads up.

That's a bad bot. I found so far 12 sets for 1 CS:GO key.The best offer at the moment if you want to lvl up your profile.

Summer Sale Card bot

what you found was a regular set card bot and 12 is a horrible ratio, there are many bots out there with 17 or 16
